  • This is perfect for me! I had already set a mini goal for myself to be under 200 by Halloween and this challenge will fit in with that. My name is Christine. I am American but I have lived in England since 2008. My husband, Andy, is English and he lived with me in the States for 8 years but we finally made the big…
  • You should try Couch 2 5K, the link is here: http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/index.shtml There is a nice program you can follow and then there is a Bridge to 10K. There are great apps and podcasts out there also!
  • My name is Christine. I am American but live in England. My husband Andy (who is English) lived with me in the States from 2000 - 2008 but after a trip to visit family in 2007 we both decided it was time to make the big move back over. We brought what could fit in a 6' x 4' x 4' shipping container, 4 suitcases, ourselves…
  • This happens to be also! And I put it down to when I exercise I do not eat my exercise calories.. but now that I have had a week of little exercise and trying to eat a little over every day (last week weigh in was the same weight so trying to shake it up a little to see what is going to work the best) I weighed in today…
  • Workout #9 complete! Doesn't appear I am going to get the 30 Day Challenge completed before we leave for Italy next Friday [August 6th]. I want to really concentrate on using the treadmill more over the next week so that I build up my walking endurance since we will be doing a lot of walking and from what I can see…
  • Better late than never right?!? I am back at the workouts starting today, completed Workout #8 and I pushed really really hard! I was able to keep a job in the newly formed teams at work so thanks to everybody for keeping me in their thoughts! :flowerforyou: Per my HRM: 30 Day Challenge - EA Sports Active (Wii)…
  • Have you thought about getting the EA Sports Active More Workouts? I have heard there is a 6 week challenge on that one! Or we could do this one again when we are done and do it on HARD everyday. :noway:
  • Congrats!! :flowerforyou: I tried it when I first started MFP and got through the first week and had to stop cause my right knee was hurting so bad! I have set a goal with myself that when I get down to 200lbs I will attempt it again since I won't have as much weight on my knee. My husband has done it and ran on the…

  • Okay girls... I ended up having to take another rest day yesterday [Wednesday]. :frown: Honestly too caught up with everything at work and not sure I can stay focused on anything else until after next Wednesday. We will not know anything for sure until then and for right now it feels like a pause button has been pushed and…
  • Today was my rest day and boy did I need it. Found out at work today that of the 19 people in my department only 12 of us are keeping their jobs.. so redundancy may be in my near future. Will be back at the Workouts tomorrow.. and hey if I lose my job at least my diet will be easy.. I won't have any money for food.…
  • Workout #7 complete! Had to force myself cause I had a typical terrible Monday back at work but thankfully dear hubby Andy went to the gym so I figured get up and get at it. SO glad I did! And I can report that having your correct weight in the HRM is the way to go! haha :blushing: My HRM actually showed me…
  • Today was my day off, great job to those that completed a workout today! I have noticed that in the last two weeks the calories burned on my HRM have been much lower than that that is listed on the EA Sports Active itself. However in my first week with the HRM it used to be showing very similar numbers. Well today…
  • Workout #6 complete! Again I think those fast kick up are going to be the death of me.. just can't seem to get a fast enough pace going for it to tell me I am doing it perfect.. it keeps saying too slow. Hopefully practice will make perfect. As of now I think tomorrow will be a rest day. Per the calendar on the…
  • Workout #5 complete! Did it right when I got home from work... unfortunately my shower after the workout was not too fun. The water kept going out and turning cold. • Great job Aszolc!!
  • Workout #4 complete! I decided to do it on 'Easy' today and my heart rate stayed up almost the entire time! I burned almost as many calories in 28 minutes that I did the other day with something like 44 minutes. Major cardio day! I am working a 12-8 shift today so knew the only way to get it in was to do it before work.…

  • Called into work sick today.. still not feeling well. Decided to do some light housework to see if it would make me feel better to get up and moving about.
