I thought it was just me! Please save me from killing this thread, too!

There is also a book out there called "The New Rules of Lifting for Women: Lift like a Man, look Like a goddess". Great book.

Bleck! I can't stand it! I don't like it at all and it upsets my tummy, despite all those good little bacterias (plus, I can just get acidophollus pills for good bacterias). I have tried it all and I'm with the rest of you- do not like!

Awesome! So inspirational!!!

When I was using my bodybugg faithfully, I loved it! I was burning less than what typical equations came up with for my body size and I was burning a lot less in spin class than I thought. I also realized that I really don't sleep very well at night! Instead of logging all of my food in MFP and then the bodybugg website, I…

Request sent. For me, I have found I need to plan my meals & snacks. After I get home from the grocery store I wash all of my produce and separate them into single serving singles in the snack baggies. I do the same and weigh out nuts and other snacks. This way I am never not prepared and when the munchies come I don't…

I love their almond butter....might have to try this. I am on a permanent ban from nutella because it is my crack. I would lick the jar clean!

Besides getting a good night of sleep, do you take any vitamins? I take the women's raw one as a general supplement and can tell when I don't take it. Also, do you take B12- that is great for energy. Google chronic fatigue syndrome and see what other things sites recommend for supplements. Hope this helps!

What do the male instructors at your gym wear to teach spin class? I would assume it would be bike shorts like what you have on. Maybe you could be like one psycho spin instructor I had who was constantly yelling "eyes" and doing the whole two fingers at his eyes, two fingers at our eyes. Maybe you could do the same and…

You look great...very sexy! it is harder to see in one pic to the next, but there is a huge difference between the first pic and the last! Slimmed down, toned, nice biceps....very nice work! Pics can sometimes be misleading, I find, do you also take your measurements? That might help a bit on areas that maybe you don't see…

First- congrats! - 100 lbs is awesome & inspirational regardless of the time frame. Second, my doctor actually told me to only eat 800 cals/day (I have 100+ to lose), but I think that is ridiculous and refuse to go under 1200. I can't function on 800 but that's me. I'm assume the OP is under doctor care.

Hi & welcome back! Congrats on the -50! I'm also back after losing 25 and then literally not losing even 1 lb for a year, getting checked out by the doc, giving up & now getting back on the horse! Feel free to add me!

That is awesome! Congrats!

I play at my sister's house and based on my BodyBugg, I burn just as many calories dance (and more high-intensity calories) dancing than spinning! Fun! I wish I had one!

Check this article from Runner's World. Runner or not, I found it helpful as I was having an IT band issue from spinning class. Then I read that cycling actually can make IT band issues worse! The Big 7 Body Breakdowns http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,7120,s6-241-285--13841-0,00.html

I'll put my paddle in, as I also have 100+ to lose! Feel free to add me & support each other!!

For me, exercising solves so many issues. Exercise means I sleep better, which means I'm generally a happier person/less cranky  . It also eases my PMS symptoms and definitely helps with the cramping. I have found, just like they said for diseases like arthritis, MOVING will make it better. It will hurt at first,…

Hey there! Welcome! I also have 100+. Please feel free to add me. And just asked any questions! Everyone here, in general, is friendly and full of knowledge! Nina

I have over 100 lbs to lose and found, like you, I was getting frustrated that I wasn't making my mini-goals. I found if I focused on non-scale mini-victories, it helped me (smaller sizes, better endurance, able to lift heavier weights, etc). Thanks! Nina

Yes and my brother has it even worse. The only "cures" were 1. Warm, not hot showers 2. Eliminate ALL dairy, wheat and any other known sensitivity 3. Avoid soaps with scents and colors/ 4. (For me) avoiding all nail polish, body sprays, etc 5. Keeping myself well hydrated and body moisturized. Run a humidifier in the…

Do you drink lots (and I mean LOTS) of water? Also, I regularly take steam & sauna at the gym- this really helps clean out my pores and my complexion looks better than ever. Also, I eat "clean". As soon as I don't, or vaguely start eating crappy, my skin shows it.

I'm completely addicted to it (And I'm no skinny minny). I tried the cushion seat, but it got in the way, and after a few times, you get used to it. I completely agree with previous poster- the shoes with the cleats are the way to go if you get into it- SOO much better and less fatigue on your feet! Welcome to the…

We all need help some time, even if it is begging! Try not to focus on what went "wrong" in the past 2-3 months, but the bigger picture- you have lost 27 lbs and you are back here, rededicating yourself, asking for help/support (which I think is the hardest thing ever!). Look forward, not back and you will be able to do…

There could be many reasons for headaches, especially if they have increased with your pregnancy. Any triptan drug (Imitrex, zomig, etc) is effective on migraines, but it is highly doubtful a doctor will prescribe them to you during pregnancy as well as any other typical anti-migraine drugs. I have suffered from hormonal…

Celebrate the weight loss. Despite everything I go weeks and weeks without losing anything, then I will suddenly lose a bit, then stay the same again for 2-4 weeks. I'd rather have your problem than mine!

Thank you for posting. I started at 315, down 25, and am trying to do it the "right" way. THANK YOU for the positive story. I needed to see this!

I find myself struggling, too, and like you, always have been hard on myself, a perfectionist, etc. I think all of the advise is great and agree with the poster that you need to find what works for you. Therapy helps, but it is all about practice. I disagree with the comment about changing medications. I don't know your…

I rarely used to complain about being cold, being a hearty New Englander, but this winter I'm FREEZING. I assume it is the weight loss.

I have a soy allergy/sensitivity and avoid it at all costs. Once you start reading labels, you realize HOW much stuff it is in. Why? Because it is cheap to add to foods. So even if you think you aren't getting that much soy, it is probably much more than 25% of your protein.

YOU ROCK! Such an inspiration!!!!!
