• Feel free to add me- I started at 315 over a year ago, got down to 290, got stuck. Then I got sick and got down to 280. Now back around 290 and need support as I am serious about doing it this time!
• You look amazing! I started a little less than you and can't wait til I lost 119! You look WAYYY smaller than 213!!!! Don't let the scale pressure you- go with how you feel and if you want to lose more, do it!
• I'm in! I'm in Boston.
• I too feel like this is a lonely journey and that I am invisible to the world (which is ironic given how much I weigh!) But you're not alone, you have us! I'm going to add you and we can do this together! :)
• Yes, agreed with the same poster, but in the reverse. So often I feel invisible because people will shrink back or avoid me just because my weight. You know that look in their eyes where they avoid you. It has really effected my confidence because I know inside I rock, but people make a snap second judgment and don't even…
• I started taking phentermine about 2 weeks ago. I lost about 25 lbs and have been stuck there for over a year. It was this or lap band. I chose this ( I don't have blood pressure problems or anything). Like the others have said, it is a tool. I still get hungry, etc. For me it really helps the snacking and binge eating. I…
• I am very overweight & I spin. For me it is great exercise and a huge calorie burner since I'm not quite yet ready for running. All types can do it---- you change the tension and do what you can by listening to your own body.
• I dont think it is realistic for everyone. Try googling bmi and body frame. At some point I got to a test where it was bmi but took you bone structure into account. I was considered a large bone structure at 5'4" because of the size of my joints ( wrist, elbows, etc. There is a little measuring test you can do). The…
• I agree. I *loved* one of the morning djs ( younger, in his late 20's) on a local radio station I listened to on the way to work in the AM. He was a self-professed high school band nerd and former fatty ( his words) [me too, except current fatty]. I loved him until the day he started making rude comments in passing on the…
• I use the Degree motion sense in powder scent ( comes in a box) because Secrets powder scent ( which they recently changed the scent & formula) bothers my allergies. That works for me. One of my friends has a real bad sweating issue and she found that using a men's deodorant worked best for her. There are prescription…
• I love all the pictures of your buddies! they are so cute. In my profile pic is my baby Satu ( Japanese chin). She wasn't a rescue as she came from a reputable breeder but I work with a group on the east coast that rescues Asian type dogs ( peeks, chins, lhasas, etc). As you can see, she has attitude!
• Oh, I have given a lot of guys chances because I liked their profiles, but men quickly dismiss you if you are overweight, Bbw, whatever you want to call it. I can't tell you how many times on eharmony, etc, I would get into great conversations with men, we would be clicking and as soon as they saw my pictures, suddenly…
• It is well worth it! I highly recommend, especially at that price!
• I'm like you and several other ladies and am pear shaped and lose in my boobs first. Maybe we should wear spanx and push the fat from our tummies, hips & thighs to our boobs  . If only! I agree with the weight training. I also use St Ives renewing moisturing lotion with collagen elastin. I get it from walmart for…
• Check online at Jessicalondon.com, avenue.com or onestopshopping.com or google "Wide calf boots". I think most of the sites tell you what sized calf it fits. it is my DREAM as I get skinnier to fit into sexy boots without my football player calves!
• You look great and look wayyy less than 195! nice work!
• I also found I built leg muscles (and my legs really toned up/slimmed down, but I have a lot of weight to lose) from spin class. As Malibuhydro wrote, I also do a scoop of protein powder after spin class. I think for one month until you are recovered, you will be ok.
•
Haha so true. Have you noticed the one that are seeking the "perfect" package. Doesn't even have the "perfect" package themselves?
Totally! After all the drama in the forums, I am scared to bring up how they usually had other package deficiencies!
• I have to add that I have tried all the sites and after awhile you come up with the same people over and over again (or maybe I am a loser magnet?). My friend (very skinny & attractive) was matched up on Eharmony with someone who claimed to be a "Lawn Care Specialist" and went on and on and on about his love of grass. We…
• Haha. I am laughing because I loved your whole post!!!! It seems (or least here in Boston) men want the "perfect" package and I'm not physically perfect. Even worse, in a city of smarties, being smart isn't even "enough". So I perfectly id with your rant! (and will help you with the poop packages to those who reply "I'm so…
• Awesome! Congrats!!! I hope to join you on the -50 and then -100 soon! Great work!
• When I started, I hadn't exercised in YEARS and I was over 300. I started with walking and elliptical. I could barely do 3 mins on the elliptical without dying. My trainer set goals to get to 15 mins the first week adn 30 mins the second week. By the end of week two I was at 30 mins. After a bit of feeling more into a…
• Yes, I was a slacker at the gym for the summer and I tried to go straight back into a 1 hour spin class. BIG mistake. *HUGE*. BUT it has motivated me to not fall off the track for that long again!!!
• I can completely tell from all the angles! Nice work! So motivational!
• Throbbing despite where it is on your head can typically signify migraines. Some people do suffer workout induced migraines. I do & take ibuprofen about 30 mins before I work out and make sure I am well hydrated before, during & after.
• I also highly reccomend spin shoes. I wore regular sneakers a few times and my feet were in such pain. The more rigid soles of my spin shoes are much better!
• Hi there: Thank you for the laugh! I will add you( and anyone else please feel free to add me). I'm down 24, but have still 120 or so to go.
• I'm sorry to hear about you and your bf. First, we all have bad weeks where we feel like we are getting nowhere, but you have to push through it. You ARE good enough...not matter what....as long as you keep trying. From my own personal experience ( may not work for everyone) I found the #1 thing I need to be successful in…
• Welcome! Sending you a friend request- I have similar goals! let's do this!
