I love my mom and her sisters but there is no way I want to be in the same physical condition when I am older. Recognizing that I was beginning to go down that road was a wake up call...and none too soon.

Glad you're feeling the results as well as seeing them. Keep up the good work.

Yes...this looks like more than 45 pounds (which means you've gained a fair amount of muscle also). Fine job.

Walked around the block yesterday and went for a nice bike ride today. This brings my total to 60 miles for May.

Having a workout buddy would be helpful if it's possible. If not...just having an accountability partner is key. I've been called out a couple times for not being in the fitness center in the morning.

I love to work ou in the morning for two reasons. My coworkers can see it in my face if I worked out before work and if I don't it's easy to come up with excuses.

Congratulations. It's wonderful when we find an activity that we truly love.

Good points. Thanks for sharing.

I have lactose issue once in a while so I use lactose free milk in my scrambled eggs. I love almond milk on oatmeal. Variety is the spice of life.

Funny. Nope, you didn't waste any time. However, having to explain how walking could be exercise may be a waste of time. And kudos on 98 miles - wow.

Thanks for sharing.

13 miles yesterday and 5 today brings my total to 25

You are doing fabulous. You will be 150. Keep up the hard work.

This doesn't sound like overdoing it. Be sure to mention it to your doctor at your next visit.

Hilarious! Thanks for sharing.

Congratulations! What a super feeling.

As long as you don't compensate by eating more it will help you maintain.

I agree. The only way that your sweating will reduce is if you don't push yourself. Bring a towel and continue to push yourself.

I hula hooped for one minute last week at a health fair. If I'd had any idea the number of calories it burned I sure would've kept it up for longer. Impressive.

Remember that healthy eating and activity is a marathon and not a sprint. Don't be overly concerned about falling off the wagon for a brief spell. Be glad that you recognized it and climb back on. Congratulations on reaching out. You are not alone.

My vote would be to gain a little back to regulate your cycle. Lifting weights will help you achieve your desired curves back.
-
Adding 7 miles for yesterday and today.
-
I'm new and found you a couple of days late. I'll shoot for 150 miles in May if you could add me, please.
-
I weigh myself every morning for a while to remind myself which way I want to go and be sure it isn't getting out of control.

Cut the minimum amount to donate to Locks of Love. You'll still have plenty of beautiful hair and help someone at the same time.
-
I think this sounds great. What's most important is that you're wearing something you feel confident in.
-
I do better when I drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Lifting doesn't do THIS much for me...but your pictures are very encouraging.

Congratulations on your persistence in finding good foods you enjoy. That can be quite a challenge sometimes. You look fabulous.
