Be sure to surround yourself with positive people. I don't mean the annoying perky kind - they can be depressing as well. I just mean people that can look on the bright side of things and not complain all day.

That's fabulous! I usually have the opposite reaction..."hey, this mirror has got to be adding weight". So glad that you're seeing such wonderful progress.

Both people don't have to have the same goal...one could be for weight loss, one could be training for an event or working on some other personal goal. The point is that they're in the journey together.

I have a Tendergrill Chicken Garden Salad or Whopper Jr with no mayo once in a while. Just be sure not to make it a regular habit.

Welcome. You will be able to find plenty of help here. Try to remember that the goal is not necessarily to lose weight but to make better and healthier choices. Everything else will take care of itself.

Welcome! It sounds like this could be a team sport for you and your husband. Good to hear.

There's a sign at our gym that says "it doesn't take perfection it takes persistence". I like that. The important thing is that you're being active again. 30 minutes a day is a good, realistic goal. I'm sure you'll do well.
