The short answer is no. Actually, the default settings are really low on protein, I've upped mine to 35%. Protein combined with strength training is the best way to maintain muscle mass while losing body fat (assuming your total calories are at a deficit). If you want to cut something, I'd go for carbs if you feel like you…

I'll do that :)

Feel free to add me if you want to! :)

yeah thanks! I think my food logging is pretty accurate, as you say, I do measure and weigh (almost) everything :)
-
You look awesome, it's really a big difference!
-
That's really awesome, congratulations and well done!!

Those pictures really speak for themselves. I like them!

I actually think it was good that they brought it up because it's part of pretty much every teenagers life. And they never showed anything "sexy" so I think they did a pretty good job making it watchable for both younger and older people. But that's just my opinion :)

Awesome :D Yeah Sam back in town should be interesting! And gosh I'm in love with the troubletones, I've watched the I will survive/Survivor video clip like a thousand times already :)

Hi everybody! I did day 7 of level 1 today and I just have a question: does anybody else feel that the workout is a little unbalanced? For me, I never feel any burn in my legs, while my delts are killing me every single time. I guess I am in ok shape and I usually do squats with significantly heavier weights on the gym so…
-
That's impressive! How much do you lift for workout, being able to to about 8-10 reps?
-
You look fantastic, really good job!!!
-
Yeah if there's one thing I want it's to be able to dance like her. She's amazing :D

Okay as I don't have an HRM (have put it on my wish list for xmas though!) I'll keep putting in the amount of minutes at the differents speeds. I'd rather underestimate than overestimate my cals burned :)

Hi! I'm 21 i january and my initial goal was to lose 20 lbs and tone up. I've lost 8 lbs so far (in about 2.5 weeks) but I think it's mostly water weight. I'll add you :)

I use this site http://www.digitaldutch.com/unitconverter/ to convert. but a cup is about 2.2 deciliters :)
-
Oh thanks! :D
-
Way to go! Congrats :D Where did you find the history? Can't seem to find it.

That's great to hear! I was just thinking, since I wasn't overweight before and that's usually the condition where you're able to drop the most in a short time. But I hope it settles at about 1 lb per week, cos I don't want to lose a lot of muscle weight which I think will happen if I keep dropping at this pace.

Hi, I'm 5'8 and 141 lbs. I'm looking to go down to about 120-125 lbs so I guess we have pretty similar goals!
-
My goal is to lose about 20 lbs (from 145 to 125 being 5'8) and while I'm trying to get rid of some body fat I'm also looking to tone my body, I want to see definition :) Feel free to add me!

I'm glad I can inspire anyone! I myself get really inspired by other people doing it and seeing results so early on. This should be good :)
-
Alright thanks! I'll do it every day for as long as it feels doable :) I sure will post before and after pics!
-
She's great. Do you do the exercises at home?
-
So I just finished my first workout! Didn't think it'd be that hard since I've been doing both strength training and cardio at the gym about 5-6 times a week for the last weeks but man did I feel that! Haha, feels really good and I love how it only takes 20 minutes :D
-
I try to visualize what I want to look like and it keeps me going, cos I know every step I'm taking (I usually run) is one step closer to that version of me! Vanity is the **** ;)

Everybody looks amazing! What food/exercise plans have you been following?
