  • I recall my husband talking about the Hydroxycut. He's a pharmacist and was considering taking it. After researching it he found that they changed the active ingredients and it does't work like it used to. I can't remember exactly what it was though. I'm thinking it used to have some kind of phentermine or something to…
  • lol...I have heard that a lot of people actually like the PB2. I think you can get it at target. I haven't personally tried it yet. Oh and I haven't tried this yet either but people RAVE about Nutella. But def try some of those suggestions. If you need to drink some of your calories because you are not hungry then def try…
  • How far under your 1300 are you? Try some of the suggestions listed. Maybe a protien shake or 2 a day would work for you. Just make sure you are eating healthy foods and I really think you should be ok depending on how far under cal goal you are each day and if the calories you are under are your exercise calories or not.…
  • Try eating the full fat version of your foods. That may help. Drink a glass of milk or eat a handful of nuts or dried fruit. Doesn't have to be big or unhealthy to have calories. Even a piece of fresh fruit or glass of fruit juice.
  • I chew a lot of gum. Although that only seemed to work for a little while. I have actually found a Natural Fat Burner that curbs my appitite. I really am not craving anything much anymore. I just started them this week. They are made by applied nutrition. I found them at my grocery store for about $6. I really didn't…
  • Bought it....never used it. lol
  • I guess thats right. I just never counted anything like that. lol Of course I don't drink sweet tea or regular sodas either. I must have just been ASSuming they didn't count. . lol
  • Chances are if it has calories then it has sugar. At least that's what I think. Then I wouldn't count it as water. I know on WW we couldn't count a real soda as water but we could a diet one. And we can't count sweet tea but we could unsweet.
  • I mean really? What's the difference in adding a powdered flavoring or something to your water and tea or coffee. Besides the caffine. And don't they put caffine in fat burners? So what's the difference.
  • I count all non-caloric unsweet beverages as water comsumption. I was on WW and they count it too. I do drink a lot of water as well but I think as long as you are getting your dailey dose of liquid that is non-caloric and not sweetened you should be just fine.
  • You could even use the Green Giant Steamer bags of veggies in the freezer section and just have the steamed veggies instead of grilled. Or just roast them. Spray a pan with cooking spray and spread out your veggies on it and brush with olive oil and roast in the oven at about 375 for about 30-45 minutes.
  • Most of the time mine is great. Not so much today. He's on the list. lol
  • Oh...ME ME ME!!! I'm 5'6 and my current weight is 172.2 I would like to lose about 10 lbs by Christmas. My ultimate weight goal is about 140-145.
  • Your good health guidlines state that you get 5 servings of Fruits and veggies a day. So that's about 3 servings of veggies and 2 fruits. Now just remember that not all fruits and veggies are free. Check your food list to make sure which ones aren't free. And all foods have calories. So even if they are "free" you can not…
  • Thank you. I really don't know if I can do this. There are so many things on that list that I can not stomach. I guess I may just have to suck it up and ea it anyway. I know my hubby will love all of it. Might have to find a way to fix these items. I'm not the best cook around. At least not healthy anyway. lol
  • It's a fruit. If you like it, eat it. Just in moderation. Acqi is very good for you. I wouldn't restrict it too much if you like it.
  • Why not? I have been slacking for the past week or so. No gym, not tracking and just eating a lot of crap. I gotta get this weight off. So what kind of info do you need from me? I'm not real sure how to track my excercise since I mainly do weight training at the gym. I've tried but it doesn't really have the machines I use…
  • Def check out the NI on their website first so that you can make informative decisions. You can also take your own measuring cups. Just spoon the item into your cup before putting it on your plate. My SIL has been known to take her food scale too. lol You might get some funny looks but it will be worth it. Good luck and…
  • I actually made this last night. I poke holes in it like a baked potatoe and microwave for about 20 minutes. Cut in half and discard the seeds and stuff and scrape it out of the shell. I actually mixed mine with a little bit of whole grain spaghetti noodles and love it. I have had it without too. That's actually how I will…
  • Girl you are doing great. Our bodies burn calories not matter what we do. Eat your workout calories. Don't worry with the rest. You will drive yourself crazy. As long as you are eating healthy and doing exercising at a normal level you will be just fine. Don't exercise too much where you are losing the weight you are…
  • I'll just say I have tried the HCG diet for about a week. Lost 11 lbs and in 2 days gained over half of it back. My husband researched this diet in Pharmacy School and about blew a gasket when he found I was doing it. You will lose weight on it cuz you are only eating 500 calories. And it sucks. I personally could not…
  • I used chili powder instead of cheyenne. It's not spicy at all. I would just adjust the spices next time you make it and maybe use the chicken or turkey if the beef doesn't sit well with you.
  • Ok..I made this last night. It was very yummy. Only thing is there is no way this makes 16 cups. I doubled it and only got 20 cups at 153 calories each.
  • Good for you. Scales are an EVIL EVIL invention. lol I am totally addicted to mine. lol
  • I agree with everyone else. You are doing a wonderful job taking back your life. My trainer almost died 3 times from this and she did the same thing you are doing. It took her figuring out how her body reacted to foods. She works out and has a high protein diet for building lean muscle. You are on the right path. Keep it…
  • I use the Iso-100 Hydrodized Protein. The Gormet Chocolate. It's very yummy. It only has 106 calories and 24g of Protein. I use it in the mornings and it usually stays with me till lunch. They say its really good for recovery too.
  • I would def eat some lean protien and veggies. No carbs (including fruit). You need the calories.
