I'm a 1 x a day to every other day as well. No big deal (imo). If you feel like its an issue or are having discomfort due to the lack of then maybe bring it up to the doctor again or maybe try a laxative or certain foods that will cause that to happen like prunes.

Yum! Pair that with a grilled cheese sandwich and we are in heaven. lol

Ugh! This is my downfall. My husbands too. Every single day sometimes multiple times a day. I can almost tell you exactly what I will weigh the next morning if I weigh before I go to bed. lol It's just a mental game. I know that number is just that. A number. But I want it to be a little one. lol

Lifting with added cardio. From personal experience when I lose fat I always lose some in my chest. And I CAN NOT afford for that to happen much more or there will be none left. lol

Sargento has a string cheese as well as Frigo Cheese Head. Both are really good.

Weight gain during TOM is usually just water weight from bloat. Just keep doing what you have been and you will be ok. It'll go back down afterwards.

Dymatize ISO-100 Hydrolized Whey Protein. 106 calories 0 fat 0 cholesterol 50 mg sodium 1 g carbs 24 g protein This comes in a few different flavors. I've tried the Gormet Chocolate and the Gormet Vanilla and loved them both. I think they have a strawberry and a banana too. I just add 1 scoop to 8 oz of water, shake and…

I'm not certain but I would think it means basically cooking it on a flat surface with cooking spray or some type of oil. Not breaded. I think I would probably just spray the pan with cooking spray and sear it. No extra calories for oil. Then just weigh and calculate it at 2.15 calories per gram.

My trainer recommends on different days so that you are using your muscles at 100% insted of like 60% but if you do want to do the cardio on the same day she recommends that you do it AFTER lifting. By the way her husbands lifts professionally and they both train men and women for competition.

Cardio is good but you need to incorporate weight lifting into your program. When you build muscle, that muscle will burn fat. Don't concentrate directly on abs though. You can do all the ab work you want but if you have layers of fat over those muscles, you will never see them. The combination of weights and cardio is…

I did this the other day without any added liquid came home to 4 dryed out pieces of chicken. I was soooooo mad. I usually add some kind of broth or water and didn't that time. I will from now on though

I would call back and make them explain it to you better. My hubby takes flush free niacin and fish oil for his blood pressure and cholesteral. Both have been very benifical as well as diet and exercise in getting his numbers in the normal range. He also happens to be a pharmacist so he kinda knows his drugs. lol

Dr office scales are always off. They don't get calibrated as often as they need to and are being used a lot. I went to the dr one day and it showed almost 5 lbs over. I was like "your scales are broke". They just laughed at me and says "that what everyone says". I said no really. I know for a fact cuz I just had weigh in…

I've never tried it but I found this link. http://www.natural-skin-care-womanbynature.com/benefits-of-aloe-vera-juice.html From what I've read you should be sure that the ingredients read "pure aloe vera gel". Alot of those drinks are nothing much more than a sugary drink with high fructose corn syrup as one of the first…

Carne Asada is pretty good for you. Basically it's grilled thin fajita skirt steak. Ask for Charro or Whole beans instead of refried and eat only 1/2 of the rice. Chicken Tortilla soup is usually good and fajitas w/corn tortillas, Taco salads w/o shell and salsa for the dressing. Chicken tacos on corn tortillas, fish tacos…

From what I have read on here, the New Rules for Lifting for Women book is supposed to be very good. I haven't done any online programs or anything though. Check out bodybuilding.com

But how accurate do you think it is since you really don't get your heartrate up. I mean I do a set of 12-15 reps, rest for about 60 seconds or so and do another rep. I'm not pushing through all of them and jumping up to another machine. I'm not real keen on all the lifting stuff and I figured when you do a circuit, that's…

I cal it a free weight machine because you actually load the weight on the machine itself. There is no pin to place into a little hole in the weights. I wasn't sure about using the strength training option under the cardio category since I'm not really getting my heartrate up. Am I misunderstanding how that option works?

Yes but if they eat it so do I. I won't buy them stuff like that and me eat healthy stuff. It's not fair to them. So when we do do it I do it with them. Also they eat the healthy stuff I make too and like it.

I also grew up similar to you. Born early 70's, grew up through the 80's and have a huge family as well. I'm the baby of 10 and each of my parents were 1 of 10 children. I was an Aunt the day I was born. lol That said, we didn't have much money and my dad always had a garden. Man I hated that garden. Loved the food but…
