Thanks for the pointers, the only thing I can think of is that as you don't fully straighten your leg on an elliptical trainer, you bent knee is always taking your full body weight. I've tried adjusting my stance by leaning forward and also transferring weight onto the front of my foot but still I only managed 2-3 mins.…

Hi, I'm 46 about two weeks in to MFP and a Fitbit One, only dropped about 6 pounds so far and according to the 'experts' I've about 80 to go but to be honest losing 50 would be a win for me. Regards Dave

Thanks for the info, I don't feel as bad now, but not quite as healthy as you post ;) I guess the 236 calorie pots of Hagen Dasz Strawberry Cheesecake don't count as one of your 5 a day. Dave
