Yep as everyone says there a a ton of reasons you can lose that much... I weigh every morning but only officially log it once a week... Over the daily weigh-ins I can go up and down 3-4lbs easily, but I only count the weekly weigh-in for MFP.

Well your head sounds like it's in the right mindset for doing this! I think all of us have reached a point where we go "enough is enough" and actually make the effort to do it and find ourselves here! Seems like you've hit yours! I've been on MFP since Oct last year but lost about a stone before joing MFP since the Jan…

I politely request a message because quite frankly I find it a bit odd just requesting to be someone's friend when you've never spoken before! Don't get me wrong, I added a few people I didn't know when I first joined up and that was through an introduction thread I posted, but generally I like to know who I'm talking to.…

Hi! I started the Couch to 5k about 3 months ago, completed the first couple of weeks but then increased the intensity ahead of schedule as I felt I could manage it. When I first started I really struggled with the "running 60secs" bit and my rest time inbetween nearly doubled! But as time has gone on I now realise it's…

Personally I'd eat them back if you're hungry but don't overly worry if not. I aim to net 1000 a day to allow for 200cals leeway from over logging exercise or under logging food. If I'm hungry I'll eat, if I'm not I'll "bank them" for later in the week. Longterm I wouldn't recommend eating under 1000 constantly, but I…

Generally if I'm being good I'll try to order something low-carb. If I'm feeling naughty I'll order what I actually want and just deal with the consequences later.

Haha, totally cheesy but Gonna Fly Now from Rocky - cannot help but pick up the pace and see it through til at least the end of the track! I'm normally more of a metal chick but for working out lately I've been enjoying some old Clubland Classix tracks, and last night in particular (just as I was tackling this HUGE hill…

Can't say about weightloss as I've been naughty eating wise recently, but I started out using this plan as a complete non runner and 3 mths later I'm now running 5ks 3/4times a week as regular run and loving it. I've done a couple of longer runs too but I tend to swap to either concentrate on speed or distance each time I…

Lovely post, what a great achievement! well done :flowerforyou:

Liking the sound of this - count me in! I'm training for a 5k at the end of July but want to be comfortable running further generally so it's easy! Week 1: 20k Week 2: 22k Week 3: 24k Week 5: 27k Week 6: 30k

Hey, Still nursing my 17mth old during the day and I allow an extra 200 per day for it. Up until 9mths ish I ate an extra 500cals a day and kept hydrated and I've had no problems. I did notice low cal weeks led to her feeding more often esp at night - i think the milk quality worsened so eat those cals! Good luck with it…

Fab progress hunny, you look great! We've got very similar stats (and I'm also a mummy) so will add you :) well done once again!:flowerforyou:

You look fab hun, well done :) As another shortie I know how hard it is. Great effort :)

Huge change! Well done :)

I know what you mean about feeling better now after having the kids lol - more womanly rather than chubby! I'm actually now under my original pre pregnancy weight and the lightest I've ever been was between my two pregnancies and I back then thought I looked great... But looking back now sometimes I think I did look too…

Wow you look like a completely different person! So much more confident and definitely younger! Congrats! :flowerforyou:

Thanks for the advice! I'll book myself in next week and see what the dr says. I'll take a week off the running and pray all will be well! The chi running sounds intriguing, I shall definitely check it out... And trainer shopping - count me in lol... now to find a running shop!!
-
Thank you both for your replies! Definitely need to book an appt with my Dr then and see what's going on... Fingers crossed it isn't anything major and I won't need to stop running long term. For now I'll stop until I know what's going on...

Hun we all have off days, off weeks, hell even off months if you're anything like me! Feeling alone is one of the worst feelings as you become not only your "only" friend but your worst enemy as that little voice in your head starts getting increasingly negative. Just try to focus on the positive things you do have. I'm a…

First time I've joined one of these but I'm finding it harder to keep losing and get out of this plateau of the last couple of months! So I'm definitely in and will giving it my ALL! SW 183lbs when joined MFP (approx 200lbs at highest before this) CW 153.25 GW 140 UGW Probably still around 140 otherwise I look like a…
