I'm loving the responses!!! LOL Potatoes are not bad, unless you have an allergy to them. If that's the case, I feel sorry for you!! I wouldn't make them your diet, but nothing wrong with a potato in moderation. I avoid mashed potatoes (most of the time) because they are always loaded with hidden ingredients that don't…

Probably not.

You can check out Bikini Body Mommy on youtube. Her workouts are high intensity, last only 20-25 minutes (including warm-up & cool down). The only way to reduce fat is to burn it off... if you want more tone in that area, you have to get rid of the fat first and do ab exercises.

It's the truth. I hope that changes when I meet the right person. :s

Not quite.

She did this little dance... it was funny!

Oh boy do I have the stories! {Un}fortunately, none of them end with me actually getting a date... However, here's a good one... I was on eHarmony and started communicating with this guy. He lived in Florida, I live in Wisconsin. We started out talking on instant messenger then exchanged numbers and would text every so…

Look on pinterest for slow cooker steel cut oatmeal recipes. There are some that you throw together the night before and then you have breakfast when you wake up. This might be a good option for you! Plus the leftovers can be portioned out and stored in the refrigerator for reheating later in the week. I also agree with…

This is such a great conversation!! I think dieting falls into 3 categories -- 1980s (mid 80s - early 90s) 1990s (mid 90s - early 2000s) NOW The 1980s is LOW FAT. Fat is bad. Don't eat fat. Take fat out of food and replace it with sugar, salt, processed ingredients to add (fake, at times) flavor. The 1990s is LOW CARB.…

I made these a few years back when I was on my diet kick. I haven't tried recently, but I'm waiting to get myself some silicone muffin cups because I ruined a muffin tin previously. I think this time around I would add more veggies and canadian bacon or regular bacon. I like to get close to 30g of protein in at breakfast!

Seems like this would be high in carbs?

We can be friends! Please note that I do not always eat "clean." I allow myself a treat every day and sometimes I go over my calories. However, I'm real and I'm really in this for the long haul. I finally hit "rock bottom" and realized just how much I want to change.

People can be addicted to food. Just like they can be addicted to harmful substances (which food can be when it's over-consumed). But I do agree that saying one is addicted to a specific food (for example: chocolate chip cookies), that can be a spit in the face.

Yes!!! <3 I'm doing this for myself... because when I've tried doing it for others, I failed. I look in a mirror or down when I'm naked and hate what I see. BUT... I'm not going to lie... part of my motivation is to be thinner because I want to meet a man, get married and build a family.

(Reading these brings tears to my eyes... reminds of the phrase "be nice to everyone because everyone you meet is fighting a great battle") "I'm done playing with your heart. I won't give you what you want and need, so I'm going to quit trying to convince you to give me what I want."
