I love to hike and most kids do too! I went for a massive hike yesterday and was so puffed afterwards, you can also take bikes on most tracks as well if someone doesn't feel like walking :)

Hey :) Sometimes I get really bad back pain from doing them on the ground, when that happens I use an Exercise ball. I'm not sure if you can use one or not in your case but it definitely feels more comfortable and there's no hard surfaces.

You should try baked kale chips, here's a recipe link: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/baked-kale-chips/ I was so nervous about trying them since they were green and a part of the cabbage family but they were delicious! And low in calories being 100 for 2 bunches including oil and salt :)
