Don't get discouraged. 3 pounds is not that much. How often do you weigh yourself? You could be losing inches but gaining a little weight from muscle build up. Keep your head up. you are doing great. Dont get down on yourself.

I eat after I work out. Start about 7:15 every morning. The P90X routine i do stipulates that you shouldn't eat at least an hour before you work out so I always eat after. I know some friends here that will eat back the calories they burn through exercise. The program is subtracting the calories needed to lose the weight that you are specifying...I know with me based on my lifestyle if I set it up to lose 1/2 pound a week it deducts 500 calories. My excercise for the day was P90X Cardio X. It was superb. I am giving my legs another 2 days of rest. I pulled the tendon on the inside of my left knee doing Plyo on tuesday and it is starting to feel better but giving it a couple more days to be safe.

I like P90X over insanity. I am currently doing a P90X with an Insanity Ab workout. P90X is more gradual and user friendly. If you are new to working out I would definately go with the P90X. If you would like add me as a friend and I can lend support to the P90X program. Greg Reil P90X Fan
