New to Fitness Pal

I am brand new to MyFitnessPal and am very excited to be here.
My biggest issue is motivating to get to the gym--I just joined and keep making excuses not to go.
I follow a weight loss/nutrition plan, and have lost 35 pounds in the past 10 months.
I am at a standstill and still have about 70 more pounds to go.
Looking forward to the MyFitnessPal community for inspiration, ideas and motivation!

    Welcome! This site is very helpful. If you need friends for motivation, feel free to add me. I find that it helps me to see how much others are doing and what they are eating. Good luck!

    Hi! I find that it helps if I do little things each day. Try going for a 10 min walk one day and then increasing your time by 5 minute intervals. Maybe that will help motivate you to go to the gym?? Thats what worked for me. I have only been on the program for a week and I haven't checked if I lost any weight...but keeping track of what I eat has helped me get more motivated about getting up and doing things!
