This mental image made me so freaking happy. Thank you, random pug.

Oh, pick me! I'm 25, 5'5", desk job. Highest weight in 2010 at 208 pounds. Lowest in 2012 at 118 pounds. Now I'm 155. Just looking to lose body fat while sparing as much muscle as possible :)

I was totally taken aback when I had to PAY extra for condiments in some parts of Europe - Haha, I'd taken my free ketchup for granted...

I don't have a reward by goal weight anymore (I don't have a goal weight), but I do get a gold star on my calendar for every weighted-workout I complete during the year (Cardio-only doesn't count). At the end of the year, I tally up all the stars and that's how many dollars I can spend on myself for a Christmas present :)…

I'm absolutely an emotional eater. I do it when I'm angry or depressed - I've really had to work at catching myself and figuring out what the real issue is.

Well, why DO you keep doing it? I mean, there must be something about it that makes you keep going, even if it's just habit. Maybe, if it's not a scary thought, you could try NOT logging your meals every single day, and see whether or not you feel comfortable. That can be kind of an overwhelming idea for some people, and…

I hit that speed bump at year two. It lasted for several months, but I got through it. I've been using MFP since 2010 and it's definitely never felt like a chore since that time period. How long have you been going through this?

Drug addiction. I relapsed in January and my success in the gym (lifting, strength) went away with it. Lost a year's worth of progress in a couple months. I got clean again, stayed clean, and now I'm better off than I was before. I know my triggers, I stay the **** away from them. You can't change what happened, but you…

I'm not gluten free, never needed to be, never tried to be, but I've found that a lot of restaurants, if you request something gluten free, will ask if it's a "Preference or an Allergy" - big difference. And I totally agree with baileybiddles, people who get anal about a dietary restriction that isn't required, just…

Nope. If you're getting enough protein from whole food and you're getting enough fiber, Quest Bars really don't make much sense. Actually (TMI), they usually put me a bit too far over on my fiber for my daily needs. However, IF you are looking for a protein bar and IF you want it to taste decent and IF you don't mind the…

@Amoreislove More power to you, that stuff's a drug, just as much as cocaine is. What was the hardest part in the beginning, for you?

6 total 2 crappy ones from target because they're easy to lounge around the house in 2 moving comfort ones (the Rebound Racer in two different colors - if they weren't so expensive, I'd have twelve of them. Literally the perfect bra) 2 Victoria's secret yoga bras (uncomfortable but sexy under workout tops. yes, I care…

Had 1.5 years, relapsed, now I'm at 7 months. I don't know if it gets less boring, but I hope it does, because some days I want to vibrate out of my own skin and I'm irritated with everyone around me who doesn't understand. NA has helped me get out of my own head. My biggest problems were an inability to identify my…

What's triggering these binges? I'm not going to tell you to "just stop it" - I couldn't. But that was four years ago. Whenever you feel like binging, or just after a binge, write down your thoughts and feelings in a journal. Before you head to the cafeteria, just take a minute or two to write down a checklist of moods,…

*Minimum*, buy a cheap book on DBT, or check on out from a library. Commit to working whatever steps it instructs you to follow. If you get your mind right, you'll get content with your body without even focusing on it. See a therapist. Discover your triggers. Commit to working the steps.

Yup, same thing happened to me after I lost my first 60 pounds. I ended up gaining about 25 back. The best advice I can give you is to identify your triggers. Whether it's a song or a certain person, checking facebook or just driving past a fast food place, find out what it is that's triggering you. When you binge, or when…

Okay, so I kinda feel better knowing I wasn't the only one who's first comments were negative. One of my girlfriends was oversees and didn't see me until I'd lost 60 pounds. She was offended that I "hadn't told her I'd been so sick" and I "looked like I'd gone through chemo." I was mortified. Other common early comments…

I love all things Glitch Mob. Drink the Sea is still their best album. "Animus Vox" is my favorite song for literally any workout.
