  • *nods* there are so many worse things than being single!!
  • I would say its possible in the first month, but after that it does settle into a normal pattern. I personally think most people would be hard pushed to lose 2lb a week every single week. Human bodies don't work that way...
  • I like the idea of a calorie spike... I've practiced it on nearly every diet I've done and if I can keep the other 20 meals of the week good, clean and under my calorie intake, I'm always guaranteed a loss. :)
  • Theres a lady in the gym who is aneorexic.... shes gota bit of muscle definition but what cause my attention was her spine sticking out through her skin... I wasn't intentionally staring at her, just one of those things that catch your eye!!! :( Most of the time I "judge" myself on other peoples performance rather than…
  • To an extent I suppose it will come off where a lot of it is... like if you hold weight on your bum it *should* be coming off there the most. I've a lot of weight on my tum, and the first 2 stone was a lot off there. I have however lost in the strangest of places... like my feet, hands and face. I can now see some of the…

If the condition is uncontrolled you will definitely struggle, but if you are medicating with the correct dose it shouldn't cause any issues with…
  • On my exercise days I eat about 2k :) Totally with you on the anti starvation thing. Unfortunately I HAVE to take rest days with my arthritis (perhaps more than most people), and on those days I stick to my 1480 calories. Dunno how anyone copes on sub 1400 to be honest
  • Agreed with this lady :) I'm tall and I hold my weight *too* well. Its frustrating when people don't believe you weigh so much and keep telling you to stop losing weight >:(
  • d'aw cute kitteh.... I've tried a VLCD before and IF you can survive it..... the weight still comes back on... its escapism.. You see far too many people on VLCD forums restarting because they've put ALL of the weight back on and more!!! Never again!!
  • Birth control and stuff like that rarely affects weight loss/gain in my experience..... not compared to a lot of other drugs on the market anyway. Migraine pills can - I used to be on an anti histamine/beta blockers which did make a little more difficult to lose weight. But I never had a massive problem as long as I was…
  • Agreed, I'd go nuts without the extra cals!! And I've done my exercise, so I can have a treat..I think for me its a positive connection with extra food and *earning* it. I can manage it long term and thats the most important thing. The deficit is already there, you don't need to increase it, and long term you aren't really…
