*poke* Quiet old thread atm! Come on everyone, let's hear how you're going. What successes and challenges have you had in the last few days? I've rediscovered and old favourite salad, and tried coconut water for the first time! Delish :) Day 2 of c25k kicked my butt a bit, but I expect it needs kicking ;)

Very good point! Thanks for the motivation :D

LOTRO, again, still, after all this time. It sort of feels like home, and I love the community on my server. I played TOR for about a year but I don't know.. something was missing, can't quite put my finger on it. Loved Galaxies before the NGE. And yeah.. Sims 3 player also, and have a whirl back on old school Age of…

Thankyou :) Hoping I hold onto enough of that strength and determination to tackle Day 3 on Friday!

Just did W1D2 this evening, and didn't feel as good as Day 1. I guess the muscles and everything are still in shock and thinking if they protest, I'll stop. Well I didn't stop! I did skip two runs, as I was fairly sure I was going to vomit, but I did the first 4 sets of one minute, and skipped 5 and 7. Still feel good for…

Just going to pop my efforts from yesterday into this thread, seeing as yesterday was the 17th for me. Yep, in Australia :) W1D1 down, knees not too bad today, and hoping D2 tomorrow goes well.

Had my dad's birthday on the weekend and ate way too much Chinese food, which left me super bloated, so I was just giving that a couple of days to pass. Not a big loss this week, but…

Well I just did W1D1! My husband brought our 5 month old along in his pram, and yes, I managed to do all the runs! It was certainly a challenge, but I tried to just keep remembering how proud of myself I'd feel once I'd done it! Now off for a warm shower and a cup of tea :)

Hi there! I'm Lisa, 33 years old and been battling with my weight for a really long time, since I was about 8 years old. Looking back at photos, I was actually a skinny kid but felt fat, which is sad. I joined MFP a few years ago, and have had a good amount of success in the past, losing as much as 17kg (37.5lb). It…

Week # 1 – February 3rd -- Goal 180 minutes: Mon: 8 Tue: 0 Wed: Thur: Fri: Sat: Sun: Total / min left: 8/172 Come on me, get into gear! The weather's been so hot here, it's been putting me off and making it hard to find time between looking after the baby and trying to not go out when it's either dark or 40C +. I need to…

This sounds really good, and I don't imagine it would be too bad, calorie-wise, as long as you didn't go crazy with serving sizes.

I think I better make my goal 180 minutes a week to start with, as I've been lucky to do 30 mins a week lately. Week # 1 – February 3rd -- Goal 180 minutes: Mon: Tue: Wed: Thur: Fri: Sat: Sun: Total / min left: 0 / 180

Count me in! I'm planning on starting a whole new approach to my exercising, and I think this will help keep me accountable, and get to know some other folks better too!

Well it's Feb 1st here now in sweltering southern Australia! So I'm entering today's weigh-in :) SW: 293 CW: 293 GW: 275 Weigh in Dates: 2/1: 292 2/8 2/15 2/22 2/28 Total weight lost: Well, it's 41C here today, which is about 106F, so I'm going to cut up some watermelon and kickback with the health magazine I bought while…

Count me in too! I started on MFP years ago, and had some good success with it. I started at 132kg, and got down as low as 115kg. Various things happened though, and I had a baby last September. I'm now at 133kg, and it makes me really sad because I'm finding I can't get down on the floor to play with my son. I said that…

I'm 7 weeks, 3 days. I had my first appointment with my new OB today, and she prescribed the Clexane along with 100mg aspirin each day, as I've had 4 miscarriages in the past. One was due to a bleed, but not blood clotting. The others' causes are unknown. I figure she thought there's no harm in trying it, and doing nothing…

7+3 according to today's u/s, and gained about 8lbs... I'm not allowed to gain basically for the rest of the pregnancy. maintnenance for me!

Well, just had the first ultrasound, and baby is measuring slightly further along than we thought, a couple of days, and has a really good strong heartbeat. We're very relieved and very happy, and have some pics on a disc, one of which features the baby looking the shape of a tiny little roast chicken. The other new s is…

Just another one to add to the cramping here as well. It's mainly been happening in the evenings and at night, but on and off through the days also. Sometimes it's like menstrual cramps, but it seems to be of a more consistent, low level nature. A couple of nights they've been quite strong and I've had to get up out of bed…

DH and I have had Aurora Frances picked out for a while now if we have a girl. Boys names are a little tricky as DH and I have quite different tastes. I like Arthur, Albert, Jasper, Oliver, Flynn, Alexander and then some more unusual ones like Henning. DH perhaps likes Arthur and Alexander, and he doens't mind Isaac, which…

Just 4 weeksish today, need to get the early dating scan to be sure, but I'm so hungry. Luckily, very little nausea.. just tried at the drop of a hat, and hungry all the time. Eating chocolate now while the potato gratin bakes. Oh well...

Thankyou :) Just trying to relax and not overanalyse every little cramp. I know cramping in the early stages is normal, and I know that statistics-wise, there's every reason to beleive this pregnancy will result in a healthy, full-term baby. I just have to eat well, take regular exercise, and do what I can to look after…

Hi everyone. Just found out today that I'm pregnant, and due late September. Calcuator says 24th, but will know a proper date after the first scan. I still have a lot of weight to lose, so am hoping to drop some in the first trimester, and not gain a whole lot later on. I've been pregnant a few times before, and have had a…

Bump! Thanks very much to OP!

Gamer here as well :) mainly mmos for me. My current addiction of choice is the old republic, great game with a great rp scene on my server. Used to play lotro a lot and still have subscription, but all wrapped up in a galaxy far far away at present ;) I need to educate myself on some other games and genres, want to play…

I love Subway for lunches. I'm not sure if it's different here in Australia, but I've never noticed any extra thirst or bloating afterwards. My usual is 6 inch turkey on wheat with lettuce, tomato, onions, cucumbers and capsicum, with a small amount of sweet chili sauce. It's delicious and satisfying and around 270…

You're just beautiful :) Congratulations on the loss, you look really healthy! Love your style also xx

Actively TTC here. My husband and I have been trying for a baby most of this year. I fell pregnant in early July, but sadly suffered a miscarriage about 6 weeks ago. That was our fourth miscarriage. I have PCOS, and I know that every bit of weight I lose will help our chances of falling and staying pregnant. I do apologise…

Hey, another gamer girl here :) Mainly mmos for me, though I never got into a WoW a whole lot. Did have an Undead mage, but only got to around level 25 I think. I've played lotro since beta. I saw someone say they play on Landroval - me too! LMB is awesome! Though I haven't been playing lotro as much lately, as I've been…
