Whenever you weigh, you should compare the weight for the same time of day. Apples to apples and such. I like to weigh in the morning at the gym/club so I am dressed when I do this and try to wear the same stuff or at least similar. I do not even take my shoes off. We are having frozen pizza (Tombstone was on sale). Then there will be finger-type food throughout the evening. I am 5' 3 1/2". I started my journey in October at 307lb. In the 82 days since then I am down to 276.5lb. I google and check it out that way. There are some sites that are fairly reliable. Estimating calories compared to something similar is a good thing. BUT many people are about 20% off when estimating their portion sizes! SO, in that department I suggest measuring & weighing! ;)

I love my rice maker. When I lived in Hawai`i, I got hooked. I like sticky rice rather than fluffy so it works better for me!

I officially weigh in on Monday mornings. Sometimes I check my weight more often but I don't count anything but Monday morning's number. Every other Monday, I do measurements.
