Yup! I'm 44, will be 45 at the end of August. Started my process 10/2011 at 307+ pounds at all of 5'3.5". MFP and watching what I ate got me started. Started working out at Curves 5 weeks later. By 9/2012, I'd lost 100 pounds and gained lots of muscle! I took a break at the end of October 2012 through January 2013 when I…

Hehe How about slicing up some sweet potatoes and baking them like chips almost? They are quite yummy and a…

I like to spread it on a Flat Out (wrap) or other low cal tortilla. Then I put a large handful of spinach or salad mix, grape tomatoes, mushrooms, and onions. If I have some leftover chicken breast or shrimp, I will put that in there and wrap it up. Oh it is SOOO good! I like it on the Wasa crackers too.

Beautiful in both pictures!!! Nicely lost! Thanks for the inspiration!

Ohhh the lemon cookies by Little Brownie Bakers are delicious! Savannah Smiles. Only 28 cal per cookie! Confession...... I like to eat popcorn especially in the evenings. It's my indulgence! And I usually have something sweet with it too. :ohwell:

Saboteur!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Call out the cookie militia and have all of your coworkers put her favorite snacks on her desk. Either all at once or every day for a week. Nah... don't do that, really. Keep doing what you know is working for you! Don't let her steal your joy in your progress!

I did not read all of the posts but I want to make a point, whether or not it has been made previously, For some children, the school lunch is the ONLY nutritious food they have all day. Granted it is not as nutritious as is ideal. That said, I am not defending the slop that is served. Just stating a point. I wish it were…

I don't use any number except for Monday morning. ;) I do check my weight on the same scale at Curves each time I work-out. So Monday through Friday, I get a number but I only count Monday. :) For what it's worth, I also weigh on my grocery store's scale but I know that it weighs light. I jump on it... no not jump... GET…

I'm 5'3 1/2" I started my journey 106 days ago at 307. My goal is 160-165 and then I will reassess. That last 20-40 pounds is another journey in itself! I want to see what my body looks like and my overall health is before going any farther.
