Calories in vs calories out. You can have a burger every day and lose weight. Fast food is just not good for your body.

Refuse to go out with him to get crap food. Sit him down and explain to him why this is so important to you. Cook yourself some healthy food while he eats his pizza, or hell, go for a run WHILE he eats his pizza.

What ever you say, boss. Not like I'm out there telling every one how to live their lives or anything. I do what works for me. And I just don't feel the need to eat a lot some days.

I eat anywhere between 500 - 1300 calories a day, but it just depends on the day, what goes on etc. I do cardio and my job requires a LOT of lifting, plus I do intermittent fasting. I feel great. I usually just have coffee with 2 tsp non dairy creamer, and 2 tsp sugar.

My family tends to start to worry as soon as I start dropping weight. I'm pretty sure they worry because I played a bit with anorexia in high school. My grandma and dad are about the only ones who don't make a big deal about it.

I have a book I read when I get on the elliptical, and I listen to music. I go faster to faster beat songs, and slow to slow beats. I guess that's interval.

Most gas stations have fruit up near the register now. At least around where I'm at. That's your best bet. Or pack your own snacks, which would probably be cheaper and WAY better for you. No gas station snack is healthy.

I always have water with lemon. Occasionally, if it's my first meal of the day and it's later, like after 4pm, kind of a dinner, and I got out.. I'll have a coke with my meal. But at the most it's maybe a can or so worth. I don't gulp it down. But really if your going out and really need to get a soda, count the calories…

To me this just sounds like someone who hates cardio and wants a valid excuse to never do it again. Everything in moderation. I like to run, and will continue to do so until the day I die. I've never seen an overweight runner. I don't spend hours every day, running though.

I understand people like bacon, but to me I think it became more of.... a fad to like it? I guess. I never remember hearing much about it until a few years ago people started making stupid jokes about it and how "godly" it was. I think people just went along with it being awesome, even if they actually don't eat it a lot.

I still drink, but I don't drink the sugar filled cocktails or what ever. Never did. I drink whiskey now, and beer. Working on once a week. I don't think it would make a huge difference if once a week or so I indulged in alcohol.

My diary is only open to my friends. I keep it closed to public because them not seeing my updates and knowing what is going on in my life to effect some choices I may make, makes their opinions biased. So I don't like strangers throwing my personal choices in my face.

I'm working on staying around 1200 calories, and usually come up under. I do Intermittent Fasting, though. So I eat 2 meals a day with maybe a snack. And one day a week I will go over heavily (1500 cals or so) just for drinking or if I go out to eat or whatever. A cheat day, if you will. Add me if you want! :)

There's a few times a week I don't make 1200. But I don't eat all through out the day like most people on here, so I'm not hungry very often. I do have a day or two where I eat around 1500 calories, give or take. I think it just depends on the person. As long as someone isn't purposely trying to maintain like 800 calories…

Me too! I never get hungry until about noon or so. I eat like 2 big-ish meals a day, and I feel fine.

My fiance and I make an okay amount of money, but we have a lot of bills to pay, which doesn't leave much left for us to use. This isn't true. There is no such thing as "jump starting metabolism". Anyways, if you want a 100 calorie breakfast just because you think you should eat it, don't bother eating if you aren't hungry. You won't go into starvation mode, and your metabolism will be fine. If you just want a super small breakfast, eat fruit.

She sounds like a hater, really.. I'd drop her. If she can't support you and be happy for you, then you don't need her around. That attitude might go into other parts of your friend ship too.

I make bean burritos (black beans or kidney), put beans in taco salads (black or kidney, again), I put lentils in cabbage roll ups, but I cook them in vegetable broth with two tbsp soy sauce and 5 tsp cumin (delicious). There's all sorts of things you can do with beans!
