If we're tracking here, so far I've been on Wii Fit on May 1 and May 3 (30 minutes each day). I've discovered Rhythm Boxing, which is nice: the 6 minute session burns 48 calories and it's challenging enough to keep me interested :)

You don't want to mess with your milk supply, and you have your hands full as it is with a newborn, so why feel hungry and miserable if you don't have to? If you're hungry, make sure you're getting all of your calories. If you're still hungry, you should eat some more...it doesn't have to be another thousand calories: add…

Hi! Like you I'm also BF and working on the weight. What is helping me is the book "Eat Well, Lose Weight, While Breastfeeding: The Complete Nutrition Book for Nursing Mothers" by Eileen Behan. It has solid and practical advice in there (and I'm a nurse, so I can attest that she's making medical sense). I'm trying to…

Sounds good to me!

At least a year. After that, it'll depend on how long little man wants to continue, though I'm definitely stopping by age 2 this time. I did the baby-led weaning with the first child...who decided he was going well past 2.

I mean, I'm as much of a bacon fan as the next omnivore...but not so much as to put it into a cupcake. Have you ever tried Bacon Salt? Bacon goodness in a powder, and don't ask me how they swing this, but it IS vegetarian to boot. I discovered it one Lent when I had given up meat.

Combination of pregnancy, lack of consistently exercising, lack of consistently eating well, occasional...all right, frequent overeating and drinking, injuries, medical issues and medications. Mind you, this is spanning 7+ years...and I accept full responsibility for the parts of this perfect storm that I did have control…

It doesn't bother me as it's their decision, not mine.

5'8" Currently 198 - I wear size 14 Blue from Lane Bryant. Right now I am too curvy to even consider trying other brands. When I was thinner--around 150-160, I'd wear size 12-14 in most pants brands.

Depends on a lot of things so I can't definitely say "yes" or "no." Life--and love--is not always as black and white as we'd like it to be.

Depends on the guy, the hair and how well the guy takes care of the hair. But overall...VERY nice :)

I don't care how I look in the gym. I'm just glad I'm in the gym in the first place.

Psychiatric nurse since day 1, working day and evening shifts.

With my body shape, I'll never look like a string bean or supermodel no matter how hard I try :) And that's OK because I like the curves of my boobs and butt...I just want to tighten them up.

I will do that when I'm going out and know what I'll be having, or when I'm at work and I won't have the time/opportunity to update.

I got an extra-long workout in. I'm also skipping the alcohol today and sticking with club soda. This year, we decided that instead of the usual chicken, chips, cheesecake and fries, we're cooking a few gourmet--and healthier--items for enjoying during the Super Bowl. So it's going to be lamb sliders, bison burger bites,…

5'8" and 222. In my defense, I was about to give birth. What can I say: no morning sickness + cravings for cheese = weight trouble. When not pregnant: 210.5 (my MFP starting weight). Lowest weight as an adult: 140, which was a little too low for my comfort. I think I looked a lot better at 150.

That makes sense. I'm guessing by inseam you mean the crotch.

OP: You can continue working out but like others have probably already suggested (I didn't read all the posts), talk to your doctor as well as your obstetrician about your fitness goals. Your diet and exercise plan will need to be modified as the pregnancy progresses. LIke it or not, you will gain some weight--the baby…

I have put away an entire box of Samoas in one session.

Cheese. It's the one reason I could never become a vegan--I can not and will not live without cheese :)

If it happens to my son, HE pays the ticket, not me or his dad. Having to shell out a $100+ dollars of his own money for this might be an effective enough deterrent for future tickets.

Every Saturday. Occasionally during the week I'll hop on but I really try to limit it to Saturdays only. For a while I've tried weighing in every day. Some days it was motivational; other days, it was discouraging. So I abandoned it for now. When I reach my goal weight, I'll probably start weighing myself daily again so I…

With Coffee-Mate (or the generic equivalent) flavored creamers: I measure what I use and incorporate it into my meal plan. I also only drink 1-2 cups a day. Maybe 3 on a weekend.

I've tried going all black, skim milk, sugar substitutes, no sugar, etc...and have come to the conclusion that I am not happy giving up creamer in my coffee. So now I just incorporate the creamer into my meal plan...and if it means a smaller snack here and there, so be it. I also don't have several cups of coffee a day.…

I like the "I have to fast/watch what I eat for blood work" idea. I'll have to borrow it :)

I admit I do better exercising at the gym for a few reasons. First, I'm more motivated to exercise at the gym than at home because there's fewer distractions there than at home. Second, they have a lot more fitness tools there than I have at home. Last, seeing others: older and younger, in better and in worse physical…

If my husband ever treated me like that, I'd up and leave his *kitten* so fast that his head would spin. Fortunately, mine's smart and has been supportive of me through thick and thin. I wish you a lot of success in your quest to lose weight and get fit--looking good is the best revenge :) And no matter what, I hope you…
