If I had over 1000 days logging, I would be at my goal weight right now, instead of stuffing my 10 pounds of feed into a 5 pound sack every day.

Dieting is hard! I get hungry most days too. Protein vs. carbs works, as suggested here. I find heading to the mall and trying on jeans to be the best appetite suppressant out there. I also pop a phentermine here and there on a bad hunger/craving day. I know people frown on that, but it works great. Cardio is another great…

Kale chips, celery dipped in hummus, cucumber chips. It's hard. Good luck!

I had a kid-workout breakthrough this weekend myself. She went hiking with me yesterday AND today! She whined a little, but mostly had fun. We also just bought a "tag along" bike to attach to one of our bikes. That is working well also. Prior to this, my workout was at O'dark thirty - running through the neighborhood…

Wow! This post makes the vegetable soup I'm eating right now taste better. Thanks for sharing!

41. Am I the only old Mom here? At least thanks in part to this site, I'm not a heavy set Mom in her forties anymore!

Sam's Club (but Costco probably has the same stuff) - big tub of greens, big bag of broccoli, veggie tray, bags of shredded cabbage, cases of EAS Carb control protein shakes and Pure Protein bars. Protein and vegetables... works for me!

Sounds right to me. Mine is set at 1330 and I'm 5'8" trying to lose a pound a week.

5'8" and a size 8 pants and medium top at 158 lbs. I have a pear shape. I have a vintage 1960 skirt in a size 14 that's too tight to wear. I think sizes have changed over the years!

Belly fat is a tough one! I've lost 59 lbs and everything is tightening up except for the stomach. The skin just isn't shrinking. Keep working to get theh body fat % down, but if you've had a pregnancy and lost a lot of weight like me, you might not ever get a six pack without a tummy tuck. Then again, maybe you will. I…

What a fun thread. I enjoyed reading them all. I have seen the inside of 3 prisons. I have sailed to the equator to watch a rocket launch.

I'm not doing it either! I wear the battle scars of childbirth but a tummy tuck would be 10k? I that $ would be better put to use in her college fund. Plus, once I go down the road of surgically correcting things I don't like about myself, where will it end? My ears stick out, I've got some bat wings, wrinkes, etc. I just…

I actually like the shirataki noodles. I rinse them really well, pat dry and then throw them into the wok with a garlicky stir fry. They remind me of top ramen noodles and they're good all stirred in with the veggies and garlic. That's the only way I've eaten them. Even my picky family ate them. They didn't come back for…

EAS Carb Control in vanilla is my favorite. It's around 100 calories and has been instrumental in my weight loss. Also - it comes in ready-to-drink which I find very convenient.

Great idea on the cheese wedges, thanks! I've been baking it like everyone else and serving with spaghetti sauce. I love it, but my family won't eat it. I have to boil real noodles for them.
