  • Oh, my bad. I didn't think I needed to respond, you seemed to have done a well enough job of clarifying. =) I'm not accusing you of fat hate, just thinking that you're better than everyone else it seems, including people with mental illness. Go you! I know there's no point in arguing with you since you're probably better…
  • Except those people who are fat and less attractive, right? Like the ones your ex's cheated on you with? You know, the ones you rank higher than.
  • Let me see if I can help parse it for you. Fat does not equal a worse personality or being less physically attractive. Fat does not equal more easily manipulated or inherent low self esteem. Fat does not mean that you should only be a one night stand because you're somehow not worth any sort of long term relationship. Fat…
  • Nevermind, I saw you already posted an example of a bean salad.
  • Can you do up some salads or purchase some? I'm currently nomming on this lobster in chili aioli spread on bread slices. I like it because if the baby decides he doesn't approve of his Mamma spending time not fussing over him I can slide it in the fridge and it's just as good to go once he's content. Some ideas: I…
  • I second this! I have anemia and impaired B-12 absorption, I get B-12 shots every 3 months. The shots themselves haven't aided in my weight loss but the combination of having them and having my anemia under control definitely does!

  • I'm not there yet but I have come far! Relevant numbers: I started at 316lbs/143kg and I'm 5'2/157cm.
  • I wouldn't have thought of it myself until you mentioned it but using it as a substitute for bread crumbs sounds like a tasty idea! Stuffing, meatloaf, etc. I bet using it in a mix for stuffed mushrooms would be divine!
  • I once ate a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts. I passed out and had a nightmare that I was drowning in glaze. When I woke up I ate a dozen more to make myself feel better.
  • Eh, I don't want to memorialize that thoughtless comment on the forums.
  • I weigh each day in the morning and put it into the Libra app to see my trend.
  • You can have both! I think because of your previous pregnancy that you should talk to your doctor about this to see how safe it would be for you to carry and be pregnant if it was indeed your weight that caused some sort of growth restriction to your first child. My own experience is that I was working towards better…
  • There's not much you can do about them. All the creams, oils and other gimmicks are just that, a waste of your money. You're either genetically predisposed to getting them or you're not, seems like you are.
  • I'm in love with liver pate! (leverpostei). It's high in iron and I'm anemic so I basically inhaled it during pregnancy. It's also pretty high in fat depending on the brand you get. My husband doesn't like it, more for me! I also love this mackerel in tomato sauce (makrell i tomat) I prefer the version where it's already…
  • Brussels sprouts!
  • I'm doing the C25K program as well except that I'm doing each day twice so that I can run 6x a week instead of 3. You could always do another program along with it. I'm going to start the Jillian Michaels 6 weeks 6 pack myself.
  • Hei hei! I'm Bunny, I'm from the mountains of North Carolina. I just realized how nature show that sounds. I live in Steinkjer, Norway pretty much smack dab in the center of the country. Mountains to my right, fjords to my left. I live with my husband of 4 years on Wednesday and our freshly baked small man grumbler. I'm…
  • I'm 5'2, my highest weight was 316lbs. (May 2012) I'm still 5'2 and my lowest weight so far is 188.4lbs. I am determined that by the end of the year I WILL weigh less than 164lbs and no longer be categorized as obese! Only 25lbs to go!!
  • If I could keep both citizenship I might consider it but it's just not worth it to me. In Norway you have to reapply for permanent residency every three years and while you have more protection to stay in the country it's not guaranteed. They could deny it and then you'd have to go back to the country you were originally…
  • I had to look up what that was, a monetary amount for a child when said child doesn't live with both parents? Is it the same in Sweden? He doesn't get that because my husband and I are still married/living together. He gets the barnetrygd. I think it's pretty much the same thing except that every child in Norway gets it…
  • Too many things to quote! I don't think more people in Norway smoke but cigarettes are roughly 15 American dollars a pack, it's affordable here with the fair wages but it's a waste, 100kr could be spent somewhere else. They do walk everywhere though, myself included and it's the best! There is a mountain right out my door…
  • Yeah and I know that it's not everyone that thinks like that obviously but for reals, c'mon now. A lot of Americans expect immigrants to "learn the language" and "do things legally" to get public aid, medicaid, food vouchers, etc. I don't see why it should be different for an American when living in another country. I get…
  • I left the US to be with the absolute man of my dreams. Our 4 year anniversary is this coming Tuesday. It wasn't really a question of where to live once we started talking about raising a family, universal healthcare, free college, etc... the odds were heavily stacked against the US. Plus you know, I had a random person…
  • I'm not bothered by it. I feel more at home in Norway than I ever did in America. I guess I'm a little unpatriotic? Oh well, Alt For Norge!
  • My youngest sister, she's 16, 5'1 and 212lbs. Yesterday was her first full day of calorie counting and I couldn't be more proud that she's taking control.
  • Adding you! Hyggelig å møte deg!
  • Yeah I have to renounce, no dual citizenship allowed. My son will have dual because he was born while I still hold American citizenship but he will have to choose at age 18 which he wants.
