  • I see that also here Moseley is credited for 5:2 but there is a substantial difference between "his" 5:2 "diet" and Pilon's ESE fasting set-up, namely that Moseley has small meals during his "fast" and Pilon's way is to EAT, then STOP eating and then EAT again, no meals in the fasting window. In my opinion, Moseley's way…
  • In the beginning it was quite awkward, but I've gotten more used to it now. I work out at home, in the living room, and if he's home early he's there while I work out. He doesn't watch me all the time, only looks now and then - and comments on how sexy I am! Sure, all red face and sweaty - don't feel like it... but it took…
  • I don't bother discussing the subject unless I know that the person is actually interested in hearing what I say, which becomes obvious quite fast when we talk. Once I tried - very carefully - suggesting to a quite obese friend that she could try counting calories and she got angry and replied "I don't believe in calories…
  • I want a flat tummy. Boobs can be manipulated with bras. That's the deal for me. I've had big ones all my adult life but I've also been obese. Now they're fitting into narrow blouses and I don' miss the big girls at all!
  • This! Pushups work a lot of different muscles and will do good for your strength!
  • I do 3-4 strength training sessions per week, 45 minutes to an hour per day. No cardio.
  • I've used the kettlebell exerecises and like them a lot. Tips for freezing of videos: they are also on youtube, just install the youtube downloader extension for your browser (I have it on Firefox) and download them to view from your computer locally instead.
  • Any food. Because it's not the type of food that triggers but my state of mind...
  • I truly needed to see these pictures - thank you for sharing!!! I'm on the same; scale won't budge but my friends tell me to stop losing weight because I'm already small enough. Been at 148 for a month and a half LOL You look great!
  • I've used kettlebells at home since last August and they've done wonders for me. Really good workouts! You can find an OK starter video at fitnessblender.com, they've got a couple more for moving further also. And there are a lot of workouts on YouTube, search for kettlebell bombshell i.e. But beware, there are a lot of…
  • Can I have legs like yours? Pretty please...? I also have stocky legs with a lot of muscle underneath that fat layer. But I've seen the changes and I don't do much cardio, only strenght training and it works. Just have to manage the fat loss part first ;-)
  • A friend of mine who's about 3 inches taller than me and weighs only about 10 lbs more looks way bigger in comparison. I don't know her measures, but I'm more fit than her with more muscle and she's carrying her weight differently. We're different body types - impossible to compare an apple with a pear, ruler, etc.
  • Do both. And take into account that your calorie burn during weight training is not possible to measure the same way as during cardio. The higher burn also continues after a weight training session, longer than after a cardio session.
  • Definitely see a doctor. I have IBS and it's a bit tricky to diagnose but it can be done. I've had symptoms that varies from week to week though, sometimes I can eat this and that, other times I can not.
  • I have the same, impossible to avoid at some point, I found out... I would advise against using straps because they may stall your strength gains in your wrists. Concentrate on good form, keep your wrists straight and take your time. You will get stronger, but increasing the weight too soon won't help.
  • I've had great results with kettlebells! Started with 9lb, then quickly on to 16 lb which I still use for warm-ups. I use 15lb for lighter workouts and quick snatches and usually 32lb for Turkish Get-Ups, clean-and-press, figure-8s, one-arm swings, halos, and 44lb for two-arm swings, rows, squats and so on. Want to get…
  • Hm.... I pat his belly and ask how far he's along... but he's happy as long as he don't put on weight... He's not over weight by a lot but he'll turn 40 this year and our bodies change as we grow older.. that's what I tell him a few times a week. Hope he agrees soon...
  • Dunno... it makes a funny sound when it enjoys life, has a long tail that only wags when it's angry and it has a funny miiuuuu sound when it wants attention/out/in/food/cuddling/water/anything...
  • I do wish we could chat longer, but I'm having an old friend for dinner.
  • I like the fact that I have good skin and little wrinkles for my age! I also like that I have good posture, I am strong, and my back looks good even if I'm overweight. And yes, I'm getting to really like my arms for the first time in my adult life!
  • If I could have a body like hers in that beach pic; perfect :smokin: For me, I'll take the (small?) resemblence with a smile! As an inspiration, I'll take photos of myself in a pose that matches a pic of Pink, and hang it on my wall. New photo every month. Just to see. I want to look for others good looking celebs with…
  • Definitely often a styling issue, I can clearly see that! She's got some outfits that are too revealing to flatter her shape. I've adopted wrap tops and dresses, they are great, along with center-focused tops that don't emphasize my lack of waist line. But she's got great arms and legs; she looks amazing in heels. I've got…
  • OP, I totally agree. The problem out there is that so many are spreading s**t and it's sometimes difficult to sort it out. I've read a lot on bodyrecomposition.com and it's a great free site - along with Berkhan's leangains.com - his last post http://www.leangains.com/2013/01/consequence-and-clarity.html says a lot what…
  • What I've worked the most to overcome is the "general view" of what's good looking and what's not. All in all it's a personal opinion no matter what any "rule" or "formula" might say. I've always felt like a stocky log, un-feminine, but luckily with big boobs that caught the eye of guys (they're gone now though...) - this…
  • Lemme know when you've found that golden recipe
