Hello, Feel free to look in my food diary, I try and keep Carbs to 40%. In my first 2 weeks (27/02/12 - 11/03/12) I lost 11.5lbs. I plan and log most of my stuff before I eat it, that way I know what i can and can't eat. Sticking to 6 small meals helps me with snacking, I used to be bad for it in the evenings and at the weekend, now I sticked to what I have planned and it fills me up! Good luck, feel free to add me!

Well said, I have started to see food like this, suddenly the thought of binging on sweet sugary food seems pointless, and snacking on chicken breasts and tuna becomes normal :-)

I gain/stay the same the week before and then straight after I have a big loss. Also the week before I am always so hungry, I am experiencing this now and will have to eat up to my daily allowance of calories when normally I would strugle! Normally though I would comfort it, I haven't this month!!!

I always keep tins of tuna in my desk at work, low in fat and carbs but high in protein. Also Omlettes, I normally have 1 full egg and 2 whites, that why you keep the protein but reduce the fat! :-)

I have noticed and its really bad, I have to stop myself saying stuff all the time. I have always bought fresh food though and I get quite preachy about always cooking fresh food rather than having processed stuff.

My target is 1600 a day, although I find without exercise I can be satisfied on 1300 ish and 1600 with exercise. It is working at the moment but I will need to change it after a few months! Hi There, I would suggest more protein if you are going to the gym. I like to keep carbs and protein balanced at 40% each. Feel free to look at my diary (i think its public!) I am not saying that it is perfect or anything by any stretch of the imagination! Good luck and well done for planning!

I've changed my percenages too, 40% protein, 40% carbs and 20% fat, it works for me, I do a lot of workouts though which is why I have a lot of protein.
