I think it is swings and roundabouts. After intense exercise you will burn more calories due to EPOC or afterburn and so your BMR for that day will increase. I have never subtracted my BMR and have lost 3 stone and continue losing, but then I never eat back more than about 30% of my exercise calories.

amazing and truely inspiring. 4 months ago I was a size 24, now 16/18......I hope to get to that size 10.

On an exercise day I drink about 4-5 litres of water, it gives me so much energy and stops me getting migraines. Also my skin glows and I rarely get spots. It keeps hunger at bay too. I only ever drink water and 4 cups of tea a day. Diet soda to me is a massive treat!

The only carbs I tend to eat are cereal if I have it and fruit, I stay away from Bread, pasta, potatoes and rice. Feel free to friend request or take a peek at my diary!

Yeah I'm with everyone else, the targets for protein on MFP are low, I have mine set to 40%. Its pbetter to be over on protein than fat!

I've increased my protein intake to 40% of my overall calorie intake, carbs is 40% and fat 20%. Increased protein intake is good if you do a lot of exercise it helps to repair muscle. Definately up your protein intake, I was advised up to 2g per kg of weight, I try to stick at 1-1.5g per KG. Yeah Subway salad bowls are the BEST! M&S do good salad bowls too and then I just throw some chicken in. Do you have a fridge at work, I sometimes just buy a bag of leaves, some tomatoes and Cucumber and leave them in there and then make a fresh salad at lunch!
