Welcome, MFP is the perfect place where you will find support of others with the same goal. I started MFP last September at 261 pounds and have now lost 53 pounds. I refuse to try another fad diet and now have retrained my way of seeing food. I have met some of the most amazing people here and have made so fantastic…

You should not feel bad. Your friend should understand and respect your wishes to eat healthy. While it is okay to indulge a bit enough was enough. Happy Birthday by the way!

Hi niightwind, I have been a member since Sept. Of last year and have kost over 41 pounds. My diary is open and please feel free to add me. Have a great day!

Salt is more than likely the cause in the weight gain. Before MFP I would have cankles before mid day, never realizing how much sodium I was really taking in. Now that I track mine and drink lots and lots of water, I don't swell and don't have the weight fluctuation that I did. Please don't stress over it.

Because of having to report into my Health Coach daily (it's an insurance thing) I have to weigh daily. At first it drove me crazy but I told myself to stop it. Water weight alone can can make you weigh 2-3 pounds heavier

Your video was awesome and I wish you the best of luck in your journey!
