Depends on what your job is. MFP goes by what your job is, the exercise is done separately. There is an exercises section where you log your exercises. You are supposed to eat back the calories it says you earned from exercising.

Sometimes I buy a large amount of sweets at one time. I have been asked if it was all for me or for a party, but when I say they are just for me they usually think I have had a bad day or that it must take me a long time to finish them. When I was bigger they thought I ate them all in one day.

MFP will not recommend you eat under a certain amount of calories no matter what you want to lose. If 2 pounds a week puts you under that amount then MFP changes your goal for you. I have mine set to maintain, I am 5'4 and I am taking in about 2000 a day usually, but I have not been feeling well lately so have only been taking in about half of that. MFP has me set at 2,130 currently, but I do not usually get that high.

When I lowered my alcohol intake I lost weight faster. Drinking less took a bunch of calories out of my diet, but I switched them with other calories.

Eating about 6 times a day works best for me. That style of eating helps me maintain/ lose a little while I am maintaining. I have had friends that could not do it. It depends on the person. In my opinion it is another option for people to decide if they want to try or not.

I have read that taking in too much protein can increase the risk of kidney stones. However, it is not like a little bit of extra protein is going to cause that. It is supposed to be a lot of extra protein over a long period of time.
