I think i am gonna join you =) no weighing myself for the month of March! I've become obsessed =(

Great that you logged it. I know it helps me to realize the situation better when i see the real numbers. I actually take my dogs out for a nice long walk when i am feeling like that and take in whats around me. Helps me get out of the funk. Sometimes i just run it out of me.

I never regret the run i did only the ones i didn't get out for. The more you workout the more of a habit it becomes and you no longer even think about having to do it and you just do it.

Your body probably doesn't want to go lower. Whenever i hit a plateau i just increase exercise or decrease food. If you increase cardio do not eat those calories back and try doing an exercise your not currently doing, or try hiilt training. Do two hiilt days instead of running at a constant pace. Just google HIILT if you…

Congrats on the four miles!!!! For the one car full of meanies probably there are 100 people admiring your courage to be outside exercising and just not telling you so =)

Usually 100 a pair. I have a membership to road runners and they have a love it guarantee. So you can take the sneakers back even after wearing them outside if there not working well. I know i love new balance 890v the whole series. So i go to the new balance outlet and if they have them in the older 890v2 in my size i can…

favorite salads, mixed baby greens, dried cranberries, walnuts, gala apple, feta cheese, and a half of tbls of homemade vinaigrette. I only use a couple tablespoons of the cranberries and nuts, and one ounce of feta cheese. second fav salad, mixed greens, roasted pears, walnuts or nut of preference, crumbled blue cheese,…

I consume about 100 carbs a day currently. I don't like to go to low carb, although i have. I run 5 days a week and have read countless studys of marathon runners being on low carb high protein diets. You have to do what works well for you. I get amazing results w 100 carbs a day and 1600 cals. Much better results then i…

I had a bout of that myself. I switched from running to swimming, and also used the bike at the gym. It took about 6 weeks for it to feel better. I made sure to stretch my feet before standing on them after any sleep, or even just from sitting.

I don't usually comment on to many threads but felt really disgusted by the dog comment. If you were to see how many small children run or wonder off and are never to be found again then i think you would realize that this is a good thing. A childs safety should be the top priority. I love my dogs and keep them on leashes…

I have a little HoA gym that i go to, my main exercise is running outside. I think you should do what you know you will 1. stick with 2. enjoy. I like running outside because i just throw my sneakers on and away i go.

When i first started this it took a little for me to notice any change. My body was slow to respond to the changes but once it did the pounds dropped off pretty fast. I just hit a plateau and know i will work through that as well. Have patience w yourself. Try to scale back on your weigh ins so your not going nuts about it.

I run outside and treadmill. I found going from 100% treadmill to outside did feel harder for me. I now incline the treadmill so that it's more like outside running. If you have been running w a slight incline i bet you will be fine. If not just slow down when you need to.

I love my super baggy bf jeans. They are so big on me that they will fall off w/o a super tight belt. =) Feels good though huah? To know where you were and now able to see all your sweat pay off. Congrats to you!

I run outside 3-5x's a week, then do the elliptical a 2--3x's a week. Sometimes if it's a little cold i run on the treadmill, or if i have a ton of energy after the elliptical i will do a couple of miles. Try taking your treadmill workout outside if the weather in your area permits. Nothing better then hearing the birds…

Shoes are more important. Go to a store that analyzes your run and get the right shoe to.

I log at a day in advance. It allows me to micro manage my macros.

Every now and then i get this feeling as well. I have actually clenched and run for miles. I made it home to! Now i am a super early morning runner and don't eat before a run, so i run on a fasted state which works wonders for me.

I eat oatmeal almost everyday. I love it. I actually put brown sugar in it and alot of times a banana and walnuts. I do eat oatmeal from starbucks and mcdonalds as well. I have been loosing weight at a normal rate and find carbs in the morning helpful for my workouts. Why stop eating something you love just cause someone…

10 lbs by valetines day. 1.5 min faster per mile this month =D

Stop focusing on the scale. It will drive you insane. Instead weigh yourself very rarely and be much much happier!

I started running at about 230lbs. Thier is a woman in my neighborhood who is a runner who weighs about 300lbs...but she runs pretty slow. I would seek medical advice and i think you should be able to walk the distance your wanting to run before you start running it.
