ttoombs- I just had foot surgery a month ago, so finding low-no impact is a huge challenge. I can recommend CRUNCH YOGA. It has a 45 minute part in there that is no impact and all of it is low impact. I always do water aerobics at my local gym. It's very easy on the feet and joints. Let me know if this helps you. Great job…

Well I got to day 11 and went away for the weekend to visit family. I did great friday night and tore up some lemonade cake on Saturday at 10:30pm while I was helping clean up. I totally take full responsibility, and am starting back at day 1. Disapointed, but hopeful.

Great job with the shopping. You are right. All of the good stuff is on the perimeters of the store. I have to send my daughter or husband down to get stuff out of the bad isles. If I walk idly by, I have a better chance of grabbing junk and looking at the calories and thinking, "hey I can work that into my meal". I really…

am10484- Thanks for the encouragement!! I am on my day 10 today and I cannot believe I'vemade it this far!. I'm so glad everyone here has been there for me. When I want a snack at 10:00, I log on and talk for a few minutes until I feel better. Congrats on your day 4!! It's so tough and you're doing such a great job!

spicy- my prayers for you for your father. I'm glad to hear that he enjoyed a long life beforehand. You are handling things very well. suprjewels- Stress makes me feel like crap. I feel defeated and want to curl up with my loyal boyfriends Ben&Jerry. But now, I've broken off the relationship with food and when I'm…

Wow!! everyone is doing a great job. I am on day 9 but last night we went to the movies and was watching my cell phone to make sure I tossed the snack by 9. That was tough! I had a half bag of gummy worms and I had to really force myself to toss them.......and then I missed them. But I even had water to drink instead of…

What a douche!! Imagine that day that you're walking around in your bikini, looking fabulous (which you could do today, cause you're beautiful) and there he sits, alone, with his beer gut, trying to chase after women who laugh at him as they walk by. Imagine him in 10 years, with a budda belly, and a super hot comb over…

Sanifrey- I hope you feel better soon!! My daughter was sick with what sounds like the same thing, and she was miserable, so my heart goes out to you. I haven't been on in a few days, I had family here, but I definitely did my workout. We live in a historic community, so we walked all over since it was warm and read the…

welcome kellyelly, it's never too late to join!!! It does take some getting used to. I am on day 8 so I promise that it does get easier! Zara11- That's really okay. Since you have a hectic schedule (me too, sometimes I don't even leave work until 11pm) just make your cut off time 2 hours before you are going to bed. Be…

wow nicolet04, if exercise can make me excited about my housework, I am going to try much much harder LOL!! Great job on the routine though!

Hi everyone!! Am10484, that's really sad. I think I would have snacked too at the very least. But it's okay, I wish you the best of luck, and I know that you'll get back on track. kristina23- you'll bounce right back. My record is......................... but I'm going fro day 3 today!! Good luck!!!!

I walked around the mall for a couple of hours on crutches. Holy cow!! That is a lot tougher than I thought it would be, but I'm glad that I did it. Great job everyone for squeezing in those workouts.

Don't worry. Even if you are having a rough day, eating is a form of comfort. So are we!! Food can't talk back to you and make you feel better, but we can! When I'm overwhelmed with school, work, myhusbands traveling (nothing like Iraq, my prayers are with you) and my own hormonal craziness, I do something tokeep my mind…

I have been cleared to do no impact yoga/stretching, and get to walk on crutches. No more wheelchair!! But I do have to admit that I've lost a half inch off of my upper arms, but I found it on my thighs. So I thought that no impact meant useless. Yikes!! It reallyis hard. Your core has to work twice as hard. So I'll…

I work on my feet running around for at least 9 hours a day. I work 5 days a week and my bmr just tells me to eat 1200 calories a day to lose weight. What about my work? Doesn't that factor in? Cause I've been on 1200 calories for 2 months with exercising and eating most (within 60 cal) of my exercise calories and I'm…

Great job Sanifrey!! I did my 20 minutes of mild stretching (all I'm allowed after surgery), but I miss my running and can't wait to get back on track! Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Calorie Counter

Everybody has such great advise and we are all here for the same reasons, right!! There is a fabulous group of ladies and even some gentlemen here who are in this same boat, swimming away from bad habits and to a much healthier life. Projected outcome everyone!! With a positive attitude, we can do anything. We need to…

Great job guys! I am back to day 1. I found myself popping a cookie befor eI even realized it around 10pm when I was cleaning the kitchen. However, as punishment, I sent the cookies to my daughters pre school class this morning for snack. Kristina 23- I stink at lgging calories, but I'm great at pre planning. I plan…

Mrsbuzz, I get you. We actually have the same amount of weight to lose, and it seems like I do so well for a couple of months, then I get busy at work, or my family makes me crazy, etc; and all I want is a bag of chip s, a pint of Ben and Jerry's, and a big soda, and then I figure," well I just screwed up a weeks worth of…

Hi everyone! I got my day 1!! woohoo!!!!!! It definitely helps knowing I'm going to report in to everyone in the morning. Thanks. I made chocolate chip cookies today though, so tonight is my true test.

Hey, I would love to join even though it's late. I am a repeat offender with night snacks. My husband and I both work from 8-6, and dinner at 6:30-7, and then it's quality time with our daughter, and we get to hang out after 8:30, if neither of us don't have any follow up work to get done. I'll pre plan and do great all…

It's a beautiful day here in Michigan, some and my 4 year old were outside making a snowman. I can't walk yet, so she keeps bombing me with snowballs. The crawling around in snow was actually hard work though. A couple of hours of this and I definitely hit my workout for the day. Exercise outside vs. inside is so much…

Hi, I'm new to the site kinda. I started a while ago (like a month), but lost touch with it for about the last month. I am hoping to meet my goals and get back to my pre baby weight of 130-140. It's funny, I think I gained most of the weight after my daughter was born. I gave birth at 187 and after 4 years I'm still at…

I could use someone or someones to help me get my behind out of the house and work out. I just had foot surgery though, so does anone know any good no impact exercises. Wheelchairs are great for the upper body, but really bad for your lower body. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Food Diary
