>>My data from just a few days show a pattern of dipping into the low 60s/high 50s in the wee hours of the morning, then rising steadily into the 90s - 100s into late morning before I've even eaten anything.<< My husband got the Libre a few months ago. He finds the Libre readings are consistently lower than the finger…

If you do 16/8 IF, how many carbs/calories do you get in during the limited eating time?

Wow! Inspirational!

Congratulations, you look incredible! I am especially glad to hear you talk about plateaus. Even though it's not true, I am prone to believe my plan is not working if I have a week without weight loss.

I am 65, have lost 25 pounds since January 9 and am thrilled with my progress. I want to lose another 35 before having knee replacement surgery. If I am able to keep up this rate of weight loss, maybe I will be ready by October. I love this thread!

I'm glad to hear there are others, like me, who don't have the stop-eating switch. It helps to know that even so, I can be successful. Thanks everyone for all the ideas and your personal experiences.

Thank you for your comments and ideas, some of which I hadn't thought of. I agree I need to lighten up and relax about it, which I'm trying to do. It's also true, as someone pointed out, that I may be more active than usual, which would really help in terms of not gaining weight. And no matter what I am served, I can…

I know just what you mean. In my case it's leftovers that my husband is tired of and won't eat. Usually I make meals that we both can eat, but on some occasions not. He'll eat his leftovers for lunch but after a couple times he's had enough. I then freeze them, but he ends up never using them. I now make myself throw them…

Congratulations. I think it's even harder to stay the course when the progress is so slow. But you did it!

Congratulations! You are an inspiration for sure.

Way to go!

Congratulations on doing so well. I can really see the difference.

I take this as a commitment to stay on plan for Easter. I am right with you. I am hosting the dinner and it will be hard to "count" the foods that I'm making, but I am committed to staying the course. This is too important to me to let one day throw me off.

Thanks to everyone for their comments and suggestions. I will survive the disappointment and move on. And I will give Happy Scale a look.

I weigh once a week. I don't drink alcohol. No doubt water retention is a possibility. I'll just have to suck it up and keep on going.

I have hand weights sitting on my closet floor. I need to take them out and USE them.

Bisquick baked chicken. Mmmmmm!

Impressive!

Thank you!

Sorry to be so naive, but do you "plant" new seeds every day in order to have sprouts every day? Do the seeds sprout only once and then they're discarded? I've only bought alfalfa sprouts at the store and they always go bad before I can finish them.

I sometimes make my own greek yogurt too, and had the same question regarding how to 'count' it. I don't think you can ever be sure of your accuracy (depends on how thick you got it, etc.), but I think the estimate using store bought is a good choice.

I'm 63, and on the weight loss portion of my journey, and living in snowy Minnesota.
