I am officially done with T25! It was really hard to complete this week with illness, my grandma being in the hospital, and just a general "blah" feeling and lack of motivation. But I knew I'd regret not completing the program with only one week left so I pushed through and I did it! I will post my stats and before/after…

Would something like this be good?…

Hi all. Today was supposed to be Speed 3.0 but since I don't do that one anymore, I decided to do Lower Focus from Alpha. But since I felt like that would be too easy at this stage of the program, I did it using my 8 lb weights. Whoa. By the end, my legs were trembling! I bought some new Nikes yesterday and today was the…

@chookywillow I bought Hammer and Chisel brand new off of eBay for $27. That's also where I purchased T25. I received it brand new for $50 and it included Gamma. I will need to buy a bench before I start H&C but will probably get it used off of Craigslist. @RachelRiley87 Don't feel bad about how Speed 3.0 went for you. I'm…

@RachelRiley87 Congrats on finishing the first 10 weeks of T25! You should be proud of yourself for sticking with the program for so long! Good luck with Gamma! I think you will enjoy it. Let us know what you think of Speed 3.0 though! :# I'm halfway through the Gamma phase since it is only 4 weeks long. I think I'm…

Haha @motivatedsister, my sentiments exactly. Speed 3.0 is crazy. Like you said, all the up and down motion took a toll on me and I felt a little sick. I did Speed 3.0 again on Friday and I still hated it so I think I'm going to nix it from my routine. I will replace it with some other cardio video.

First week of Gamma is (almost) in the books! I just need to do my 2nd Friday workout because I only did one yesterday. There are 2 different calendars for Gamma... Pure Gamma is strictly Gamma workouts and there is only 1 workout on Fridays. Gamma Hybrid is mostly Gamma workouts with some Alpha and Beta workouts mixed in…

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all have the motivation to get your workout in because I know I don't. Today is my first day of Gamma and the first workout is Speed 3.0. I've heard not-so-good things about that one so I'm really dreading it. I decided that if I hate the speed workout, I'm going to replace it with one of…

Checking in to say hi! I hope everyone is doing well. Tomorrow is my double day and then I am done with Beta and moving on to Gamma! I'm excited but also nervous for Speed 3.0. I'm not really excited to take my progress photos though as my eating has been pretty crappy lately and it shows in my tummy. I ate waaaay too many…

Double day today but the first one is Speed 2.0 and I'm not looking forward to it! But I have to push through because after today I will only have one more week left of Beta and then I start Gamma! Peeked at the scale this morning and I'm 157 lb. Only 7 pounds away from goal! (But not at all close to the physique I'm…

I use a Polar heart rate monitor to figure out my calorie burn. I paid around $50 for it and it's totally worth it.

I swapped out Speed 2.0 today for Core Speed. It's not like I remember it. I did not enjoy it one bit but that could have to do with the fact that I did it right after Dynamic Core. But Speed 2.0 and Core Speed are tied for my least favorite T25 workout.
-
Also, don't forget that we tend to get bloated during that lovely time of the month, which could be why you're not liking what you see in the mirror.
-
@RachelRiley87 I felt the same way at one point. My weight wasn't really going down and neither were my measurements so I felt like I was doing it all for nothing. So I decided to stop taking measurements until I'm done with the entire program and just keep on going since it is only 25 minutes a day. Plus, remember what…

@motivatedsister I think I like Core Speed a little more than Speed 2.0. A couple of the moves are harder (one-armed burpees :s ) but you get the jog recovery sooner. @RachelRiley87 Exactly! I dread Speed 2.0 and Core Cardio but tomorrow is Rip't Circuit so I'm actually looking forward to it. But I have another Speed 2.0…

I just finished week 3 day 3 of Beta... Speed 2.0. For some reason, that one is still hard on me. The moves are easy, it's the super fast pace that I don't like. I live for that first jog recovery. I much prefer the workouts that involve weights like Rip't Circuit and Upper Focus.

I'm curious to hear what your doctor says too. Maybe I'll schedule an appointment to be on the safe side.

Hammer and Chisel is another Beachbody program. It incorporates more weightlifting moves, which I like. I believe there's cardio as well. @Heartlight441 You got me all worried about my low heart rate so I asked my friend who is an RN and she said as long as I'm not getting light-headed, dizzy, fainting, etc. then it's fine…
-
@Heartlight441 My heart rate is really low too. Right about the same as yours. Maybe I should go to the doctor too. I just figured my heart is really healthy like an athlete's. Haha.
-
I'm going to do a round of Gamma once I complete Beta and after that I would like to do Hammer and Chisel.

Hi everyone. I'm curious, when you complete a workout, what do you consider nailing it versus barely making it? I feel like there should be a third option that falls somewhere in between. I consider nailing it to be not having any or very minimal breaks and not modifying at all. Going by this standard, I rarely "nail it".…

Good morning everyone! How is your STATurday going? Mine started out on a high note. I lost 3 pounds this week! Idk if it's because I started Beta, I tried to drink a lot of water, or what but whatever it is, I'll take it! I've been losing very slowly since starting T25 but I figured I was gaining muscle. I kind of changed…

In regards to how many calories to eat, I just use what MFP tells me. I have my diary set to lose 1 lb/week and sedentary but I try to eat back my exercise calories (I use a HRM). I'm excited to try Dynamic Core today but it'll have to wait until tonight since I accidentally overslept. :# Have a great day everyone!
-
@RachelRiley87 Speed 2.0 is tough but I wouldn't let that stop you from moving on to the Beta phase when you finish Alpha. There's no shame in modifying or taking a couple seconds to catch your breath. Just do what you gotta do to finish the workout! I did Rip't Circuit today. I really liked it! Might be my new favorite.…

I have Core Speed and have done it twice before and it was hard, but not too bad. Except one-armed burpees... Eff those. I'm going to stick with Speed 2.0 for at least the next time it's on the calendar and go from there. Maybe I'll switch the 2 workouts out every other time. I'm like you... I didn't really have to modify…
-
@motivatedsister I'm interested to hear what you thought about Speed 2.0!
-
I did Speed 2.0 for the first time today. It was brutal! Speed 1.0 was probably my favorite workout in Alpha because it incorporated stretching so you got a little break. Let me warn you, there are no breaks in 2.0! I felt like I was going to throw up. Maybe that was because I didn't wait long enough after eating breakfast…
-
I just started the Beta phase today! I posted my Alpha before/after pictures on my own thread a little while ago. You can see them here. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10383315/5-week-t25-results-do-you-notice-any-change#latest I'm not super happy with the results but I'm going to stick with the program. I…

Oops. Yes, that's what I meant. My bad.
