  • Bacon, leftovers from dinner, protein shakes with almond milk.
  • I'm an emotional eater so I understand where you're coming from, it's really not easy divorcing mood from food but it is possible. The first step to getting better is admitting you need some help - which you've done. The second step is reaching out to professionals to get the help and support you need, which is easier said…
  • Curvy Kate, Freya and Panache are all fantastic. Figleaves.com, brastop.com and ebay are where I usually get mine for way less that the recommended sale price (usually well over £30 each). I would LOVE to find a supportive strapless or backless bra but I don't think it'll happen until I've lost more weight and the boobs…
  • When you have big boobs and a correctly-fitting, supportive bra you have a kick-*kitten* cleavage and no need for pushing up.
  • Can I take a minute to show all of my fellow big busted ladies this site ---> http://www.reddit.com/r/abrathatfits Gives tips and advice on measuring yourself accurately (when sometimes assistants in stores haven't a clue how to measure you and/or will try to stuff you into the biggest bra in their range rather than give…
  • Put it this way - the recipes uses an entire jar of Nutella (400g) plus two 250g tubs of Philadelphia cream cheese. And that's just the filling! You need a pack of Digestive biscuits, butter, icing sugar and some hazelnuts too. It is a diet breaker of epic proportions, a disgrace on a plate and ridiculously tasty. I love…

  • Ooft, Nutella is a beautiful thing. If you've got the self-control to limit yourself to it (whatever limit you're comfortable with), then go ahead. Like someone said early, 200 cals is 200 cals and sometimes you need those calories to taste sweet rather than "good". Should you ever feel like a calorie avalanche, I highly…

  • I'm a 29 mum of one with PCOS, slowly losing weight.
  • The Perseid shower happens every year and is visible globally - as long as you're not under a blanket of cloud. They start being visible at around 11pm, but are brightest during the wee small hours before dawn, anything from 3am onwards.
  • I'm Scottish, from the north west highlands originally but now in deepest darkest Stirlingshire.

  • I absolutely loved Crimson Petal. Glad you're enjoying it too!
  • Autism isn't more prevalent, it's simply a case of doctors, healthcare workers, social workers, teachers and parents being more aware of the spectrum and signs and symptoms, so more children on the spectrum are being given and official diagnosis. Diagnoses have increased because people know what to look out for, and…
  • There is NO LINK between autism and vaccinations. No link. None. (http://journals.cambridge.org/action/displayAbstract?fromPage=online&aid=211213, http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0140673699012398 and http://pediatrics.aappublications.org/content/108/4/e58.short) The doctor who suggested there was a link…
  • Good choice! I love a bit of Gaiman. I'm currently reading "Infinite Jest" by David Foster Wallace, which is as brilliant and as challenging as all the reviews say. Next on my to-read list is "Quicksilver" by Neal Stephenson.
  • Cook some in almond milk (or normal cow's milk) at night, leave to cool and put in the fridge. Eat for breakfast with chopped fresh fruit, nuts, berries and/or a big spoon of natural yoghurt.
  • Visiting Sacre Couer/Montmartre? Go to Le Refuge des Fondues, the most fantastic fondue restaurant in France. It's a tiny place with one long table which you are helped to climb over to get to your seat, so you end up getting to know the people you're sitting beside very well! It's a €20 set menu of either cheese or meat…
  • I use the Bare Minerals face wash and absolutely love it. It cost more than I would normally pay for a cleanser but it's has cleared up my patchy skin (oily in some places, dry and flaky in others, red patches on the cheeks) really quickly, it looks and feels healthier than it has in years. I use the Bare Minerals facial…
  • My fiancé went cold turkey in Feb 2012. He was drinking at least two litres of Coke or Irn Bru a day when he was working (he's a self employed software developer so never too far from the fridge) and he was getting really bad reflux, heartburn and stomach pain. One day he just decided he'd had enough and stopped. The first…
  • ^^^Agree wholeheartedly with this. Also if you're in the UK go to Bravissimo - they use a similar way of fitting for a bra and I've never had better fitting bras from any other store. M&S, John Lewis, Debenhams etc still use the old fashioned tape measure way of fitting and bras NEVER feel right.
  • I stopped drinking alcohol at home, and it has definitely helped with my weight loss. I was drinking 2-3 glasses (Ikea wine glasses, so more like a bottle really) most Fridays and Saturdays and it was getting silly. Now I've lost a lot of weight, I feel healthier, my skin is clearer and I don't spend the weekends all…
  • I love you for this.
  • Thank you so much. I'm clearing out my cupboards this week (getting rid of all the bread and carbs to start eating Paleo) so will adjust my numbers for the 30% deficit. Just need to get my supermarket groceries delivered and hopefully I'll break this godawful plateau>
  • I've been on 1300 calories since February (as advised by MFP) and have plateaued for the last four-five weeks. I see my surgeon again next month and don't have time for plateaus, I need to keep losing so that I can get closer to getting my hips rebuilt. I've lost 40lbs using MFP but this plateau is disheartening so some…
  • Can someone help me, too? I've been using my revision lunch break to calculate my BMR/TDEE/daily cals and now I have numbers swimming infront of my eyes! Should I just ignore the section in goals where MFP says "you will lose X pounds per week"? I want to lose about 1.5-2lbs per week, but my numbers were giving me far…
  • +1, you look fantastic (and about fifteen years younger). This thread is giving me so much motivation and inspiration. Even though I've lost a decent amount of weight I'm still really overweight, so seeing the changes you've all made really encourages me to keep on going. I've been fat since I was a teenager, I've no idea…
  • The paper makes for some interesting reading, or at least I think it does given I've just had time to skim it. Bookmarking it for later, thanks for posting.
  • I don't think I said that giving someone a compliment = objectifying them. Of course we all love compliments and how they make us feel good about ourselves; we want to feel wanted, that's natural. We can easily compliment someone without reducing them to what we want to do to their body/genitals, though, and I think that's…
