  • Sounds like she is on drugs based on her behavior, I would be careful, keep documentation of all threats and don't under estimate what she would do she is already acting crazy. Good job taking the high road. the parents need to watch out if she is on drugs it only gets worse and worse, and lock up their valuables. Sorry…
  • When someone doesn't communicate what they expect, then goes behind people's backs complaining because they don't like what the other person is doing, or not doing,Yet they are too chicken to just tell the person what they expect. If you are disappointed with something I did not do, I should not hear about it for the first…
  • The HRM should be more acurate for you and your individual info. MFP can only guess how much and exercize gets your heart pumping, and we can err when telling how vigorous the activity is. The HRM should be closer to how hard you are really working. But nothing is perfect.
  • Dancing to music..anything to get your heart rate up and get moving. I love just dance for the wii, but there are alot of things you can do with out having to buy equipment. jumping jacks, or modify the moves to other exercize videos, there are free ones on you tube. move the best you can and don't think about how you…
  • I think when parents see their kids make healthier choices then them, it can be convicting and they get defensive about their way of living, like what they provide is not good enough, they may be getting offended by her decision to change for herself and feel guilty for not being the example for her, It is a defense…

  • It depends on your matabolism, if you are insulin resistant, you will have a hard time losing weight on carbs, especially simple carbs. But many people do better with a higher carb intake and have more energy because of their particular metabolism.

  • could be muscle, or water weight from sodium, or TOM...do you take measurements at all. The extra calories may have allowed you to build some muscle. How do you feel?
  • I don't beat myself up about it, or use it as an excuse to make it worse, I just keep going the next day, my goal hasn't changed. It is a lifestyle and I know that I will not be perfect, but every day on track is positive regardless of the day before
  • I also have PCOS, my husband and I have been trying for almost 8 years, I lost 30 lbs last year and got pregnant for the first time after 7 years, but I miscarried :brokenheart: I went into a depression and gained 70 lbs in 9 months. I am trying to take back control of my life, I feel motivated and i love MFP.
  • If you are working out 5-7 times a week you should be at moderate activity
  • You need to be doing something you can maintain for a lifetime, not just a temporary diet, It sounds very unhealthy for you emotionally, try counting calories then you can allow yourself anything in moderation. That is much more sustainable. Maybe consult with a nutritionist (one who isn't selling you anything) to come up…
  • Don't quit,!!!!! this will pass if you push through it, and you will feel really good about not quitting, If you quit you will just feel bad, it won't make you feel better. Fake it until you feel it. Get rid of any junk food and keep extra fruits and veggies around, if you have a big appetite, eat more of those and make…

  • That sounds frusterating, my husband is pretty supportive, but not fully on board. We really can't change anyone against their will. I know what I would do is pray about it and pray for my husband, that is what I do when I feel frusterated and we are not on the same page. I can't change him, but God can! I don't know where…
  • I will pray for you to wake up with a renewed motivation! You can do this, and remember, you might not feel like doing it, but if you do, you will feel sooooo much better and want to do it the next day, starting is the hardest part. Don't beat yourself up about yesterday, do what's right today and tomorrow will be better…

  • I think it depends on the person.. for me sugar is a problem once I have it in my body it's like the sugar asks for more sugar, so i stay completely away from it, It would be a stumbling block for me, but if it is not a problem for you enjoy in moderation
  • Things have a way of working out, I know it's easier said than done, but worrying about the future just causes you to miss out on the present and really doesn't accomplish anything...The Bible says that Today has enough troubles of its own. I know I deal a lot with worry and anxiety but I try to remind myself that Worrying…
