I do walk a lot, generally 2 to 6 miles a day and I jog a little. When I first started out, I was strictly doing 2 miles a day, no matter how long it took me. I had bad ankles, a bad back and generally would get out of breath the moment I tried to push myself to do more. Now I can walk quickly and even jog about a mile if…

You look FAN FREAKING TASTIC. Congrats and keep going. I've lost about the same as you have and love seeing people who are working hard to reach their goals. Gonna add you if that's ok.

For those asking for tips here goes: I really honestly use MFP a lot! I count calories, try to eat 3/4 of my allotted calories in a day if I don't exercise, and all if I do. I eat little to no carbs on one day, then the next I will eat carbs but only in the morning. I do not like to eat carbs, because that was my main food…

To those asking how : I counted calories, walked about 4 times a week & I had never really made a huge effort before, so I think that's why my body responded so well & lost so quickly.

To those asking how I list it, I literally only counted calories and work out about 3 to 4 times a week. I also try not to eat too many carbs.

Yessum, MFP the whole time. I never ate as much calories as they gave me but didn't eat too little as well. (actually I ate too little for a week & gained so that went out the window).

Thanks everyone, honestly. Couldn't have done any of this without MFP and the great inspiring people I've met on here. Hoping to cross over in to the 200's soon. And yes, I was nervous mainly because I have a VERY hard time seeing a difference. My husband made me take the pic so I could see it side by side.

Woohoo, can't wait til I get there. You look fabulous.

I guess I'm just ready to pull my hair out, being that I gained 3lbs. But thanks, Mark. :) Glad to know that's not a true plateau.

It may not be for everyone, but I eat a tablespoon of peanut butter or some other kind of fat & give it 15 minutes. I am a HORRIBLE binge eater, and this has really really helped me.

Zumba has been a great fill-in exercise for me. I really enjoy walking, but sometimes its very monotonous. If you're not too coordinated, it might lend itself to be very frustrating, but still fun lol

That's awesome. I can't wait to get there, or to some other point where it hits home.

I'm at 325lbs right now. I started at 350lbs. I would absolutely love if anyone would add me. I need more motivational people on my friends list.
