I agree there should be warnings for that. It says my BMR is 1515 and for losing 1 lb a week it has me set at 1540 cals a day. Ive often ate below that but now Im gonna strive to atleast hit the 1515 mark. Thanks for this post.... I hadnt checked my BMR until now.

Im in a similar boat but I have found that if I vary my calorie intake (for example one day around 1300, another around 1500, and once in a while a little over my calorie goal) and drink a protein shake (I like Eas soy protein in vanilla) within an hour of working out and even on days I dont exercise if Im not getting…

No offence or anything but that is just nonsense your friend is feeding you! Whether you have kids or not if you look fabulous you look fabulous. Dont let that get you down. I have friends who have kids who look absolutely amazing. Good luck to you on your weight loss journey!

Welcome, Im new here too. Ive been on the site for about a wk and so far its great. I had a similar problem last year but mine was my gallbladder and I only lost 10 lbs before I could eat normal again (and gained it all back). You can add me if you want :smile:
