Well done on the loss! I started MJ on August 19 2024 and am now down 10.3kgs (about 22lb)

I started Mounjaro on the 19th :) My start weight was 154.7 kgs (341 lb) My heaviest ever and feeling miserable. I lost 6.3kgs (13lb) the first week. So far in total 7.6kgs (16lb) gone as of the 2nd of Sept. I weigh in on Mondays only. Add me as a friend if you like

Thanks folks. I scaled yesterday and since my first surgery in august last year Ive gained about 10kgs grrr. Tomorrow marks 900 days for me and where I start all over again. :-)

Exactly what my problem was...lost the weight but never "got" why I was fat!! So now I don't care how slow I lose, the fact I'm not gaining it back is the best!!

Ditto, Ive lost heaps before (never this much) and I always ended up putting it back on PLUS extra!

Definitely in it for life now..Im a bit OCD about tracking lol!

Don't stress over the slow and steady snail pace. I lost 30kgs In the first 12 months. then in the last 8 months Ive only lost 6kgs. BUT I'm not worried. Try implanon. I gained big time with Depo as well and had no luck shifting it while still having the shot. Weight gain was mostly fluid (but not all!!) I stopped the shot got the implant and have lost 32+ kilos (70 pound) Don't let know it alls put you off. Weight gain is a known side effect. Ask your GP about the implant.…

What they are probably saying in future keep your comments to yourself on something a bloke would not even remotely understand. Weight gain is a KNOWN side effect of Depo. Go study a bit harder Mr Know all Know nothing. You obviously have something hanging between your legs and nothing between your ears.

I wish you luck because I have been where you are. I was 143.6 kgs at my heaviest. Im a married mum andI have 3 kids and I did love junk food...but ow Ive lernt to love good food and still have he occaional treat. Im now at 112.4kgs and I can see the double digits

Well I have 5 cats and 3 of them Luuurve sweet stuff. If you've got something sweet they are right there beside you stealing it. Blue especially likes cream and jam, tiger likes shortbread biscuits (oh and lasanga! and yes he's ginfer) and MC loves food full stop!
