glad you got it checked. I tell everyone NEVER mess around with a knee injury. They can stay with you for life. Ask my dad - injured his MCL in high school, now age 73, and it STILL bothers him.

if you have insulin resistance, as many of us do, then most sugars do cause a reaction, and yes we have to limit fruit. Fruit contains a variety of sugars in different proportions. Many fruit are high in sucrose (= table sugar). So I restrict my fruit to low-sugar ones like berries.

When I was underweight from having mono, I did not have obese levels of body fat by ANY definition, but guess what, I still had insulin resistance. it DOES NOT MATTER how much I weigh. There is no good sugar. Fruit contains many kinds of sugar, in varying proportions. Some fruit (like bananas) is high in sucrose, which to your body is the exact same as table sugar. For SOME people including those with diabetes or insulin resistance, the sugar in fruit is too much.

heh, this thread is so old! I was just joking. Mostly. I do suspect there are a lot of eating disorders there. That being said I think the attitudes toward snacking are totally different. People are not afraid to feel hungry for a couple of hours before dinner.

I think I weighed 155. I thought I was HUGE!!!! I believe I fit into a size 10 at the time. God, if only I was smarter back then, I would have been HOT. but I didn't know anything and I was just a huge nerd.

I put mine up in a ponytail (or two) when I work out. Otherwise I just get too hot and sweaty, yuck! My hair is naturally super curly, and I don't ever bother straightening it, just let it do its thing.

soreness is ok. Pain is not. It may take experience to know the difference. I would check with a doctor to see if you have an underlying issue.

It did help me lose weight when I started it 9 years ago. It has that effect for some women but not all.
