I had my Paragard placed about 6 months ago, and chose it specifically because it was non-hormonal. As such, it shouldn't affect your weight or your moods. I've had issues with bloat in the past, but I always find it can be attributed to eating out or eating something that is super high in sodium. I would try not eating out for lunch every day, bring your own food so you know the sodium content in it and see if that helps.
