I think it depends on the person. My best friend is wayyyy too thin shes 5'8 and 115 pounds and looks like she needs to eat a big mac right away. I'm 131 lbs and im 5'8 medium frame. It depends on how the person is built I suppose and how much muscle they have on them.

I'm doing it for 21 days.. today is day 10 and I went from 140 lbs to 131.2 lbs. Its hard to do... but it is def. worth the results.

I only eat about 700-900 calories a day. It seems to work. I'm 5'8 and I went from 140lbs to 131 in about 10 days.

I get 1200 calories a day too and I never make that goal. I always end the day around 900-1100 calories and it tells me im in starvation mode too. Its a precaution MFP does to cover themselves and not get sued.

I feel the same way - i usually give up tracking after day 3 or 4.... it gets annoying to me... but with MFP I remember all the time, even have an app on my phone when im out and about! I think its the motivation you get from other members!

I said I wanted to loose 2 lbs a week when I signed up.... and after I put in all my info... it changed it to 1 lb a week (1200 calories a day). Check your profile settings and see. It also depends on your body because I lost 9 pounds in 10 days so far and I was only suppose to loose 1 pound LOL

Today is my 10th day here too! My last weigh-in I lost 9 pounds so far.... so it seems to be working! I LOVE MFP!

I am new to MFP too! I lost 6 pounds this week. I used to eat taco bell and sweets like it was going out of style! What I did to shock my body was ONLY drink water and ONLY eat fruits and vegetables. Well, when you workout in the morning, your metabalism is faster so you burn more calories for breakfast and lunch.... As long as you eat well in the morning and lunch.... Dont go to the gym if your nervous. Go outside and walk/run. Download one of those apps on your phone that GPS how many miles your walking and everyday just try to walk a little bit further than that.
