Hi! I'm Angie and love to read. I read pretty much anything but my absolute favorite series is the Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning. I was so sad when it ended. Thankfully she has a new series coming soon with the same characters.

Hello! I'm new to the group. I have a 3 year old French Bull dog named Zoey.

New here, just wanted to say Hello!

Congrats! You look wonderful!

I did this for the very first time on my elliptical today too and I used the Livestrong info BUT I also found another site that said that you should not use the arm poles (if you have them) during the WORK sessions. Just lightly hold the stationary handles so that your legs do all the work. I got a pretty good workout from…

Definitely sodium. I also have a prescribed diuretic to help but one little can of soda and I'm swelling up too.

I love Workout Trainer by Skimble.

So cool! Congrats!

I actually just finished my elliptical workout for the day. I noticed that it had me burning around 30% more calories than my HRM. I'm 5' 4" and weigh 180. For my 40 minute workout today using different intervals from 4 to 11 I burned 284 calories. I typically burn around 230 calories doing 30 day shred until a few weeks…

Excellent post! Thanks for the recipes. I've been wanting to try Overnight Oats.

I love running outside and feel that it gives me a better workout. I only use my elliptical when it's too humid or too cold outside.

A Fitbit might help you. Lots of numbers there. You have step goals, stair goals, mile goals, activity score goals. And you can sync it to Earndit.com that has challenges and you earn points for free stuff.

Hello everyone, Before starting EM2WL I was netting around 1400 calories per day working out 5 or 6 days per week (usually twice per day). I started EM2WL around 8 weeks ago and upped my calories to 2250 per day. Then a couple weeks later I started NROLFW. I just finished Stage 1 of the workouts and thought I'd post an…

I didn't like the idea of always wearing something on my arm so I opted for the Fitbit. I absolutely love the little thing.

My Polar FT7 (which is the model) was $83 with free shipping from Heart Rate Monitors USA. I use it for my workouts and the Fitbit for just normal walking around stuff. They've matched up a couple times as far as calories burned during workouts but I trust my HRM much more.
-
I have both and love them both. If you are just wanting to see the calories burned at the gym I would go with the HRM. Polar is a good brand. I just got a new FT7.

This morning it said "Woot" for the first time :). Last week was my first week with Fitbit and it said "I love you". Yesterday it said "I like you". Not sure what I've done to drop down to "like" status.

Thanks!

Greek! I just discovered Fage 0%. My favorites are the blueberry acai and cherry pomegrante. I used to eat Chobani but stumbled upon a blog saying that Fage was the absolute best. I thought, no way, but I'll give it a try. Now I'm hooked.

The scale and tape are both lying to me too ;). I can visibly see the difference so I'm just ignoring them for right now. You look amazing!

Yay!

I have only been doing the EM2WL thing for about a month. Went from 1400 calories to 2200 calories per day and I immediately lost 5 pounds. I haven't lost more but also haven't gained more. I'll start eating my cut value next week (-10%) so I can't really testify that this actually "works" but seeing as I have not gained a…

Fantabulous!

I'm been looking for this answer too! Thanks!

WOW! Just WOW!

This! I also have an FT7 and love it.
