Try easing into it. Start with a walking program, then progress into low impact aerobics, then to general aerobics, then add strength training and/or circuit training. Drink plenty of water before and after. Your stomach issues may be due to dehydration.

I hear that they can help with the loose skin problem if you wear them during a workout. Not sure how true that is though, but they do not help you lose weight.

I think mixing it up is a great way to stay interested and lose the most weight. If you do the same thing for a long time your body becomes so efficient that it doesn't burn as many calories. Water is key. I drink nearly a gallon of water each day. You have to take in the fluids you released during your workout. Sometimes we mistake thirst for hunger. Eat something protein rich after your workouts too. Try bringing a protein bar with you to the gym so you're not tempted to stop and get fast food.

I typically gain 2-3 pounds during my TOM. I try to cut back on sodium the week before, but it's hard because that's what I crave too.

I hear Polar is the way to go, but I found a Garmin FR60 on craigslist for 30 bucks and I'm going with that. One day I'll be able to get a Polar FT4 or FT7. Maybe with my tax returns! LOL!

Don't get discouraged. Push yourself harder and ease up on the fast food. All that processed crap really does a toll on your body. Try to limit the sweets too... maybe just choose one a day. Try eating more natural foods and measuring everything. Stay the course and keep fighting. You can and will get past this. : )

I typically gain 3-4 lbs during my TOM, but I rarely feel bloated anymore. The thing that works for me when it comes to bloating discomfort is to make sure to reduce your sodium intake about a week before your menstrual cycle beings, drink tons of water and keep exercising.

This and drink lots of water. I cut out diet soda, added 85 oz of water and added an extra day of cardio and I have a lot more energy. Now, on my rest days, I am so antsy that I go for walks in the parks. LOL!

My husband and I also say we love each other a 100 times a day. LOL! We also have a bad habit of play arguing or teasing each other which makes people think we are really unhappy. We laugh about that a lot.

I really love the Atkin's Daybreak strawberry banana shakes. They are about 6 bucks for 4 of them and really delicious. I am not on the Atkins diet... just like the shakes for breakfast. They are hi in protein and low in sugar.
