  • A Tbsp of Peanut butter and around 6-8 saltine crackers really fills me up and gives me energy for my workouts. Add a piece of fruit and you are rockin'!

  • This^^ I was doing lots of squats, lunges, and running so much my knees were taking a beating. I got an awesome workout in the pool yesterday, it will give your joints a break.
  • I've had turkey bacon before years ago, no need for me to even consider it because real bacon gets the job done for me.

  • I don't do one exclusive of the other. I have found though when my 'diet' includes good fats I lose weight, I have more energy, and feel good overall. I eat Avocados, walnuts, peanut butter, olive oil, and chocolate everyday. All in moderation and counting calories.

  • I don't have any childrenbut I think that kids who play sports and run are okay and my niece started soccer when she was five. You may have to make it interesting by racing him ( to the next stop sign, tree, mailbox) to keep it interesting. Maybe he can ride his bike while you run.
  • I sometimes try creating a recipe under my recipes and 'create' the dish I am going to eat. Can't factor in everything but it would get you close.
  • If you have an off day, or two, you didn't fail! The only failure is giving up. Start back on track the very next moment and make that choice a good one.
  • On those you can set it for however many grams you want to consume ( do research) and customize your goals with that number and MFP will help you track it. Now...because some of the foods in the database are added by individuals you may or may not be getting an accurate count of the grams you are consuming.
  • I don't deprive. When I was obese, and still today that is when I get on a tear and binge if I deprive and make it so I CAN'T have a thing.
