Not all women need a guy to be tall, but if you see a guy who happens to be tall then it's just a plus for him. I'm 5'9" and it's hard for me to date someone shorter than me, I did it once and it just didn't feel right. My husband is exactly 5'9" which is not really tall for a guy, but as long as a man is at least my…

This has always bothered me! All of the other sayings listed so far are annoying or just stupid, but at least I get what they are trying to convey. "The exception proves the rule" makes no sense to me. What am I missing???

Glad I'm not the only one.

16 for this week. 32 total for the month. I think I'm going to make my goal - yea!!

Wow, that's so uncool! Yes, it's sad that she's had a rough time and needs to get out, but that's no excuse for lying to you and manipulating you. If she really knew you are crushing on this guy and went out of her way to sneak a brunch date with him, that's pretty sh!tty. Expecting you to run her around all weekend while…

I don't like it. Calling you flat chested is NOT cool. You are too pretty to be with someone who doesn't make you feel like he appreciates your looks. You don't want to spend the next year, two years or fifty years worrying about this and wondering if you're good enough for HIM. Let him like big boobs, that's fine. And let…

I know he's waaaaayyyy too young for me, but sweet Jesus, Taylor Lautner... Also, Channing Tatum. Dreamy. And age-appropriate!

I race for similar reasons others have listed - it gives purpose to my training, pushes my limits and challenges me to constantly improve. But I love the competition - the rush of putting yourself out there and performing under pressure. When the race is over, you can't redo it - it's one shot and I love that! Plus…

Shoulders and arms. HOT!

Waiting for motivation to hit doesn't work - you may never get that lightening bolt. You have to start taking action even when you don't feel strongly motivated. That's the only way to change - through action, not feelings! Count your calories, stay under your total for the day and exercise 4-5 days a week and you WILL…

Glad to see so many RUSH fans!! We're going in November in Dallas. I think it will be my sixth or seventh time to see them. My favorite band!

First was Heart when I was in junior high. Last was Tori Amos.

My son had terrible eczema and I finally found a website that mentioned food dyes, specifically yellow #5. When we completely eliminated yellow #5 from his diet it totally stopped. The other food colors don't do it, it's just the yellow (known as tartrazine) He suffered for years before I figured it out. Eczema is…

I agree - when I log my runs MFP is usually within a few calories of my Garmin. I don't know how accurate the database figures are for other activities, but running seems to be right on. My treadmill is also pretty accurate as well, but it's a good one.

No spoiler, but I loved Gone Girl and I thought the ending was perfect for the book. Also, her other books Sharp Objects and Dark Places are good - I think Dark Places is the better of those two. Gone Girl was one of the best books I've read in a long time. She is a fantastic story-teller. Currently back to reading true…

First week total - 15.5!

<I'm 5'9" and this is me at my goal weight, which is 145. I might take it down to 140 to get some tight abs, but I'm really happy here. You just gotta log everything, everyday. And of course exercise. I run 4-5 days a week and do one day a week of resistance training (push-ups, squats, plyo, kicks, planks, etc.) But you…

I get comments about my legs (I'm tall and they're really long) and my eyes cause they're green which is unusual. My husband will tell you it's my smile, but everyone has a smile, most people don't have green eyes!

Personally, I wouldn't do it. I have two kids and they know that wouldn't fly with me. Having said that, if someone wants to do it, it's not like it's the end of the world and I realize that, it's just a teenage job application. I just wouldn't do it, it's not the example I want to set. So if you don't want to do it, OP…

This is so true! My husband and I went to Kauai and were trying to decide exactly what week to stay there and I made the final call based on finding a race. I really wanted a race shirt from Hawaii! Yeah, you're not the only one!

...you find it difficult to actually rest on "rest days" And I think I do own more sports bras than regular bras!

Finished up the month with a 3 mile run so 59 miles total! Yea me!

I agree with this. You have to face your fear to overcome it. Take baby steps, maybe start with looking up info. online instead of forcing yourself to look while you're in the pool to ease you into it. By facing it, you'll understand it and it will be less scary. Also, you might want to ask yourself what is the worst thing…

Good luck in Erie! I'm doing the Dallas Marathon in December.

So far 56 for the month! Woo-hoo, I met my goal!!

Yes, it's normal to feel like crap when you are hungry because you haven't eaten enough. Girl, you need to eat.

And this isn't a trolling pic, but it just cracks me up:

Can you please put me down for 60? Thanks!!

I love Jennifer Galardi's dance DVD workouts. She has a bunch, but my favorite is Hip-Hop Dance Party. So much fun and she breaks down the moves in a separate part of the DVD if you need it. You will definitely sweat. I also have her "Dance it Off" DVD that has hip-hop, jazz and ballet sections. Really fun! I would…
