Do you use the my recipe option? You can create your own recipe and add ingredients which will calculate the calories per serving for you. Hope that helps. :-)

What you should do is eat foods that are high in fiber. It will keep you full longer. Take fiber supplements also. For dinner, I take fiber supplements like 15 minutes prior to eating dinner so I don't overeat (I learned that from Dr. Oz show and it definitely helped me.) Drink lots of water through out the day. I lost 3 lbs my first week. My goal is to lose 1lb a week. Although, I signed up more than a year ago, I just started using MFP for about a month now. Don't give up!
