I get a great workout with the kinect :) I love Dance Central, EA Sports & Zumba so far The only time it times out is when you move out of the camera's range. It gives you a good amount of warning on the screen before it pauses the game though.

I used to just say "ok" and left it at that....drove people crazy because I would just walk away after answering lol Now since they think I'm done I have had a surge in food pushers. My immediate family get it that the way I eat now is a forever thing but gosh, other people just don't get it :ohwell:

Keep them moving & raise them over your heart occasionally during your workout. It's a circulation issue :)

I love Zumba! When I first started I had no idea what I was doing lol It's a great workout....you get what you put into it!

While I was maintaining from Feb - August this year, I still logged my food everyday. This time it won't be any different :)

Just keep at it & if you feel like you need shoes look for shoes like converse :)

My exercise time is usually early in the morning but I always have a plan B ;) I have 3 kids too (9, 6, and 4) & a lot of time I'll get some fun time in with them & exercise by.....hula hooping, jumping on the trampoline, cranking up the radio to dance, put in a zumba DVD, play with the kinect, chase, baseball, football,…

I like a mixture of both :) I did do most of my workouts at home up until an aerobic studio opened near me. The price was right, lots of classes so I joined up. I now teach there (didn't see that coming lol). I would see about doing a guest pass while you are considering :)

You can always experiment with both arms....it maybe just not wearing it on your dominant arm to get a correct reading? My DH bought me one for Christmas so I'm still playing with it. It has helped me see where my BMR is (the online calculators are way off).

I have two set water aerobic classes a day at 8:30am & 5:30pm that I teach Monday-Thursday and I'm about to pick up two more on Fridays....when I'm not doing those I like working out right before lunch (when the kids are in school).

I love Dance Central! Zumba has bad reviews & I hesitate to spend $50 on a game with the ratings it has.

I have a hoop that is a travel hoop from Hoopnotica & it weighs about 3lbs. When I first started it left bruises but it doesn't have any knots. It's one of my favorite exercises!! :D

I get that way too! Or if I'm exercising at home and I suddenly have to stop. While the kids are home we do a lot of exercise together or I just get my exercise in when I go teach a class (I teach water aerobics & aqua Zumba) &/or do it at home after they go to bed.

I have some loose skin....does it make me look like a monster? Uh no. Loose skin is easier to hide than fat just in case you were wondering :)
