That drives me crazy too lol I think someone combined density & weight said that phrase...people try to justify a weight increase or staying the same and "maybe you gained muscle...muscle weighs more than fat" response was born lol

Yes! This is how I view Thanksgiving eating. We are visiting in-laws so what they make is beyond my control so I'll eat a nice salad (I do bring my own dressing lol) and then eat sensibly. :) it's not an excuse to gorge myself.

You might want to check to see if your stride is close enough to the way you naturally walk. If it's too short it can hurt your knees and not give you enough circulation in your legs.

It doesn't help it go away...I wear under armor ones when I run & do Zumba to keep whatever's wobbly from doing so lol I just posted some FAQ's about loose skin in my blog :)

Gumbo isn't too bad especially if he didn't make a roux (ugh, the half ton of butter or whatever your family uses for that is the worst part)....reading your post has made me want some seafood gumbo! :) as for the rice, the calorie counts are almost the same for all types!

I'm a barefooted workout girl :) The only times I wear shoes to workout is when I'm running (vibram fivefingers) or teaching a fitness class.

Sounds like your friend is jealous :X I've never had a friend on FB say something nasty about my weight loss stuff...they have all been my cheerleaders :) If they did be mean I'd jump all over them lol maybe that's why?

1400 is usually a good calorie goal to work with. :) 1200 is the minimum of what a person should be eating. The numbers are going to be something you are going to have to play with.

Mine eats healthy at home but not when he's gone to work. If he's not tracking what he's eating there is no telling why he isn't losing weight...

Mine says 225 lol I renewed it by mail not thinking of going up there to get a new picture and correct my weight. Hopefully I'll remember in 4 years ;)

Yeap it's water retention...not drinking water plus probably lots of sodium & alcohol will do it. No worries though, get back to what you were doing before and drink plenty of water to rehydrate :)

It is an uphill battle but I never feel deprived. If there I a healthier way to make what I am wanting I do it. :)

to me it's a game in my head of "eat this, not that!" lol I love watching Man Vs. Food.....dunno why because all of the challenges gross me out. I guess it's like a bloody horror movie :laugh:

That shouldn't be too much to do with them...if you aren't sure just start by wearing them around the house. I do almost all of my workouts barefooted too (and run in my fivefingers!)

Yeap...this. You can do exercise to tone up in that area but it won't spot reduce the fat.
