I'm single, I get to flirt all I want online. ;-)

I've never tried it, but what about something like this? http://www.amazon.com/Stamina-15-0120-InStride-Cycle-XL/dp/B000PEM63K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1332364828&sr=8-1 LOL... oops for repeating what was already suggested. :-)

I am the single working mother of two children. Sometimes I simply don't have more than 20 minutes. I've always patted myself on the back and told myself that 20 minutes is better than NO minutes. Whoever this MFP'er is, he/she can kiss my shrinking @ss.

One of my favorite quotes! Thanks for the links.

I've been forcing myself to eat at around 10, but I'm literally forcing myself to do it. I'll usually have a hard boiled egg or two or some turkey sausage. I try to keep it protein based since I figure that's what my body needs, especially after a workout. That said, even when I workout at 6:30 am, I'm just not hungry…

Will do! Thanks. And if it's working for you....well, shoot, then it's gotta work! Lookin good! :-)

Thanks! That's good to hear! It's 12:10 where I am here in Los Angeles and I've not had the slightest urge to eat. I usually force myself to eat at around 10, but I think I'm going to stop doing that. Better to save those calories for when I do want to eat. :-) Oh - and sorry to disappoint....

Oh... also - Asian style chicken lettuce wraps with peanuts. The more protein you get in the longer you will stay full!

When I was on low carb, I had two recipes that I made up myself and LOVED! Mock-a-roni and Cheese - Cheese sauce over cubed tofu instead of macaroni and I'd also make a Lasagna with sliced tofu instead of noodles. Both were so satisfying (probably because of the cheese) and SO yummy! Also, here's a GREAT snack/appetizer.…

I agree. I find the 5 am hour to be a lot less of a fashion show.

LOL - I can think of lots of things that it would be good to have 3.14 of. :-)

I don't drink neary that much because 1) I'm just not but a fan of plain water, 2) I forget, and 3) the closest bathroom at my office is almost a football field away and I just have way too much work to do to get up every hour to pee. I do drink about 4 cups of herbal tea every day though and I *think* that counts as…

I didn't read through all 6 pages, so someone probably already said this, but the benefits of working out are LONG TERM. By toning and replacing fat with muscle (which ultimately burns more calories than fat), you are investing in you body's ability to burn more in the future.

I think I LOVE you!!! 42. :-)

I believe in a healthy balance. When I drink these days it's usually wine or vodka with club soda and extra lemon. Both do the trick with a ton less calories than beer. Not to mention the blood sugar impact of beer....

I was 32 when my first was born and 35 for the second.

I have been using this site to check mine against the HRM I bought. Does this site seem accurate/reliable to any of you that have good HRM's? http://www.shapesense.com/fitness-exercise/calculators/heart-rate-based-calorie-burn-calculator.aspx

I worry that mine shows way too few calories burned. 300 for 45 miinutes of elliptical trainer with an average heart rate of 150 or so just seems way too low. Mine was also highly rated on amazon, but I'm on the verge of returning it.

Karen from Burbank. I've lived in California since I was 8, so that would be for 34 years years now. I honestly can't imagine living anywhere else. :-)

Bumping my own thread. ;-)

This one sometimes seems cliche, but it's so true... "Attitude is EVERYTHING!"

42 here! I'd love to hit my goal weight by 43 which gives me 291 days to get there. It would be great to give and get support from people in the same boat, so please feel free to send me an add request! :-)
