the question is also because I was wondering if you really do burn more calories when you practie yoga in a hot room? Yes I ponder stupid things sometimes.

The heat was turned off because we've had such great warm weather and then it got cold last night and I didn't really notice how cold it was in the house until I'd been sitting for an hour..... The temp in the house was 14 C or 57 F. I was on the site when I figured out how cold I was so I thought - I wonder??? Then I went…

I like the take a pic and compare it to your old pic idea above. Also, Put on some of your old clothes and watch them fall off.

I know how you feel.... I've spent lots of time and money on programs that don't work. I exercise and don't loose anything, probably because I get so hungry I eat all the calories back and then some. I like this program because it lets me know when I've eaten enough and when I still have enough room to eat more.

In the end I walked but came home and baked.... oops.....

I like these simple and easy to follow points. Some make eating healthy so difficult and tasteless when it doesn't have to be.

Thank you for all your kind words and encouragement. I didn't really want this particular job - but after 2 years every 'no' starts to get to you. I'm a thinker and I think everything to death. My brain never shuts off and I need to do something that will distract it or be productive enough to keep it occupied. I'm always…

My husband would tell you that all my days are unproductive!!! It just looks that way by the time he gets home, how many times can a person tidy and clean a kitchen in one day? Its like the pile of laundry that only changes size but never goes away! I loved the pics at the beginning of this thread.

This is one of my favorite books.... The movie was good but it missed so much that made it great.

Thank you so much for putting this post up.... I love to read and have my own personal non fiction library. I can't wait to sink my eyes into some of these books.

I really enjoy yoga when I do it. I went to 'hot yoga' for 6 months and really enjoyed it. I found the Bikram too hard core but was able to find a hot yoga studio that was more my style. When I am practicing yoga on a regular basis I end up feeling looser and able to move better which helps with other things. Before I…

I have a hard time eating healthy when I'm out running errands. Eating healthy at home is easy if you buy the right stuff to begin with and make as much as possible from scratch. Start simple with oatmeal and fruit or yogurt berries and all bran. Cook lean roasts with potaoes, veggies and salad.

I buy cfrappy candy to hand out -- that way I don't eat it all a week before Halloween. My kids are older now so they have figured out that they need to hide the good stuff from me.... If all else fails I'll have my husband hide it and dole it out to the kids - he has way more will power. Or maybe its just a very small…

I've been a SAHM, a WAHM, and a WOHM. I've done it all, presently I am a SAHM looking for work for the past 2 years. I have a 12 year old boy and a 9 year old girl. I am still trying to figure out where the last 9 years went.

Just do it for you with a friend if possible and from example he may just decide that its worth it...... Don't talk about it or nag just do it..... My kids and I do lots without my husband because he's too distracted by hobbies and projects, if we waited for him we'd never do anything.

High School isn't the end all be all of your life, it ends and then life starts and everything changes..... Be what you want and make a plan to get there.
