I agree DUMPING is from tooo much sugar. He should be eating low carbs, high protein, natural sugar, fruits. No more processed sugars, candy, cakes, cookies....etc. I would also URGE him to see a dietican/nutrotionalist that specializes in gastric bypass surgery. Sounds like he needs alot of help :)

I recently joined a gym, Oct. 1st to be exact. I was hesitant to do anything other than a treadmill and to see my personal trainer for 6 times per month. I decided a few weeks ago to try the "spin class". I really like the instructor and I'm happy to say that I stayed for the full hour of the class. BUT, with that said my…

I agree with everyone above me, you look FANTASTIC. AWESOME job in your weight loss, keep up the great work

Tomorrow's another day. Just don't let another day go by that you don't control what you put in your mouth. You might now reach your goal, but that's ok. You just have to STOP now.....

I currently have 3.... a vine with yellow and purple flowers on my left ankle (my first) a angel over my heart a fairy on my right shoulder blade. I want to get at least one more, for my Granddaughter, but not sure where to put it, or what to get. So until then, I'll think about it :)

I agree, it's important to re-hydrate. I sweat so much, that I drink about 12 glasses of water when I work out....

I'm not usually tired, BUT, I feel shaky. I was on the treadmill today for 45 minutes and even after my workout was done, I still felt like I was moving, lol

I agree. I only weigh myself once a month, so I will see how much I lost on the 1st. I do the best that I can everyday, that's all that should matter :)

At the gym that I go to, the treadmills ask for your starting weight, then they calculate how many caloried burned. I got a HRM, and it was about 5 calories different from what the machine said that I burned. Not too bad considering what it could have been.....

GREAT job in the weight loss. I wish you continued success in a journey to a more healthy YOU!!!

I know this is probably NOT going to sound right, BUT, I don't think I'm going to make them. I am really trying to eat more healthy. Cheesecake -- just isn't on my menu :(

I agree, BUT, I'm not rude. Some people just appear hostile....

I joined a gym the beginning of Oct. I lost 8 lbs the first month. I only weigh myself once a month at the gym., I refuse to be a slave to the scale. I work out 3-4 times a week, more if my schedule allows it. I always do cardio, gets my heart pumpin and sweating, no less, lol I love MFP, when I had gone to the…

Why would you need motivation to put up decorations, either you want to do it...or you don't. I mean really........... :ohwell:

I agree, you are SUPPOSED to gain weight. Your carrying your baby, it's a natural healthy process. Worry about losing the weight afterwards. I wouldn't be exercising to extreme either. If your that worried about EXCESS weight gain, speak to your OB/GYN about it. Don't worry soooo much. :flowerforyou: Created by…

My usual breakfast is Kashi cereal, fruit (generally a banana, blueberry or strawberries) with milk. It's simple, easy and keeps me good until lunch time. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

I'm at 1200 calories a day to lose 2 lbs per week, that's what MFP suggested. I think it's fine, and I don't feel hungry. I wish you luck in finding the right balance for you..... Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

I generally get to the gym about 3-5 days a week. Lately I have been so busy at work (working this past weekend, Fri 15 hrs, and Sat & Sun 15.5 hrs.) it's just not possible for me to get to the gym then. I didn't go for 4 days in a row, then finally on Tuesday I did the spin class I've been going to. It's tough, but I know…

The BEST thing I ever invested in since starting MFP was a HRM. I would get an accurate reading when I was on the treadmill, but that was it. It amazes me how many calories I burn when I'm doing the circuit training. If you could afford one, I would get a HRM. It will give you the MOST acurate readings once set up…

Before I saw a nutritionalist who told me about this site, I never used to eat breakfast except when I was on vacation. Now since MFP, I never skip it..... Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

Do you have a HRM? If you do, you can input how much time and how many calories burned..... I use Stair-treadmill ergometer, general Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

I agree, I do both. I usually do 1/2 hr or 45 minutes on treadmill or like today an hour spin class, then work the circuit (specific muscles) on machines. I feel I get a better workout...all around that way. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter
